"Weird Scenes Inside The Goldmine" was a favourite album of mine with gatefold sleeve which made it very handy for rolling joints which is not something you can say about a poxy CD cover!

 

that album was my introduction to the doors, wish I still had it, mad artwork if I remember rightly.

 

When album covers were art. When Rock n Roll was going to change the world. Before the music died.

 

With Burnel and Cornwell yes.

Although strangely enough not Greenfield who was unaware of their stuff.

 

Sadly fantastic artwork died with vinyl becoming obsolete.

Although vinyl is making a comeback thank ****. The proper way to listen to rock and pop music. The sound was infinitely better than CD's.a
