    Exactly, it was so weird watching a game expecting us to lose but also knowing that when their goal inevitbaly came that I would feel nothing. Never want that feeling again about our club.

    What was with the post match comments an'all?!

    "We done gave 'em a good showin', not 'arf, guv'nor. We wuz gettin' at 'em proper, mouldy old dough." Not word for word, but it was almost - and this sounds crazy - as if Pardew was deliberately being as cockerney as possible just to stick a middle finger up at everyone. Felt to me like he was saying "Ha, ha, I'm not getting sacked, screw you Northern monkeys."

    I am just glad the whole debacle of a season is over. Normally I miss the football but not this summer I am planning the next two half months a football free zone as I gird my spirit for the 2013/14 season (fixture day list excluded).

    How do they thank us for suffering through 9 months of tripe? They give us a fan and ask us to &#8220;raise the roof&#8221; !

    Oh and we are no longer allowed to play teams who wear red. <grr>
