If we need another CB what about Craig Dawson at WBA. I think he was the one who scored a couple of goals against us whilst he was on loan at Bolton where he apparently did really well. Still young as well at 23!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but if Crystal palace don't up, I think it would be a great shout to try loan Wilfred Zaha for maybe one season. He's young and looks like a player who develops most by playing and if chances are limited at united it could be a viable option. Would love to see a Zaha, Aluko combination, would be lethal!. Also a great shout on Nick Powell for one season loan.
Moyes will want to have a look at Zaha himself! I think Craig Dawson would be a cracking signing! I see him like Gary Cahill in the way that why did Villa sell him to Bolton only for him to turn out to be good enough for Chelsea? We would be a super platform for any player to test themselves at PL level.
Quite a few posts building up on this thread now but I'm not even sure how much Steve Bruce is suppose to have in his transfer kitty, anyone know a definitive answer other than the Allams?
I do seem to remember Assem being quoted as saying something of the lines of "say for example we spend fifteen million". Whether that was a purely hypothetical example or an actual ballpark figure of what we're looking at, I don't know, but it's the closest anyone is going to get without being Pappy himself. And for all we know that £15m could have included signing on fees, agent fees etc.
I am pretty sure I read an article online that quoted the club saying we would be spending around 20 million in transfers.

i think it'll be very much the same as the Allams have stated in previous windows. there's no limit or budget (within reason) because applying their business logic, it would be stupid to tell everyone how much you have to spend on something. if Bruce wants, he goes to them and they discuss it. best way to go forward in my opinion.
Bardsley and Cattermole would be great additions. If Cattermole can sort out his discipline there the DM we've been craving is in ther.
