2.30 Market Rasen Chain Of Events 9/2

Solid enough form when 3rd behind Close Touch and in this field it makes him the standout. I'll take a chance that the Ferguson horse is too short and therefore 9/2 looks the real value in the race with form considered.

3.10 Ripon Hopes and Dreams 12/1

Was well ahead of the handicapper when first arriving in Britain but some unlucky efforts in defeat suggest that 77 is a mark within this ones scope, and I fancy Graham Lee to land this for the Kevin Ryan team. Slotted in nicely at the bottom of the handicap and against higher rated horses that might be handicapped to their best.

    I'm on both.

Confident today but he's hitting the cross bar with ones that should be winning this season so I'm not 100%

Had a nibble at Mazuego in the 4.45 Auteuil.

This horse travelled really well and hurdled brilliantly when a 6L 2nd to Sirene D'Ainay - 2nd in the Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham. That is a serious mare and Quevega was pulling out all the stops to get to her on the line at the festival (albeit with a troubled passage) but nonetheless I expect that to be very solid French form. After a long season, Zaidpour and Thousand Stars might not be at their best but the trip might just be within the limits of So Young (saver @ 16/1), who will relish the ground.

I'm going for a little touch on Satanic Beat in the 4.10. I believe the stable is confident.

took the 5's matey and have 7/2 about the other one, two singles and a double. Up whatever happens now but the double would be very tasty indeed.

And in even better news Arsenal are winning so Spurs are languishing in 5th.

5/1 & 7/2 when I put this up this morning before Church. Great double landed but hats off to AP McCoy who pretty much carried the bumper winner to victory. Stunningly typical power packed ride from the greatest jockey we have ever seen.

Hope a few of you were on!
