Well another couple of weeks have passed, with the full gamut of the best and worst of being a SAFC supporter!
Lost a canny wedge against Southampton as the old SAFC team turned up, to NOT play football.
MON said it and PDC has said it since...........
We have a **** squad, of unfit overpaid wasters.
People complained about MON getting rid of lightweights from the squad, methinks he was under orders to get rid before he could bring many more in. (Doesn't excuse some of those dire performances under MON.)
People still laud Bruces talent spotting for some strange reason!
He and Keane left us with the worst squad a very large amount of money could buy and be practically unsaleable at this present time.
    With a very few exceptions.
Only QPR have more overpaid ****e than us.
People keep trying to say where Larssons best position is!
I after careful consideration have now realised where his best position actually is............
    It's at another ****ing club!!!!!!!!
If PDC can offload most of this shower of **** I will be amazed, but hopefully he can start building a better squad than we have.
The money Ellis has put up should have had us no where near the drop zone this season, yet here we sit thankful to a team many slag off. They may have struggled on a shoestring budget for years, so how come they play better football than us? (With their 11 million pound first team.)
I for one will miss plucky Wigan.

I hope the team put up a good show against the Spuds and aren't already on the beach somewhere.

PDC has a hell of a job on his hands to sort us for next season.
At least I can look forward to next season with my usual SAFC optimism.
But dear God we need a huge infusion of new blood.

    KTF.

I see the likes of ndayie , el hadji ba coming in and think we have a positive future as a club we've made mistakes , but thankfully Ellis has seen this and has started the overhaul

MON spent 30+ million without getting much back, Bruce spent 10million all told, Keane and Drumaville and then Short who had to wipe the debt spent 80 million +.

    Drumaville went crazy with Keane
Drumaville couldnt afford it anymore, sold to Short with Debt
Short cleared debt got rid of Keane
Got Bruce said not a lot of cash here is 5 loans
5 loans didnt work ok sell henderson, you can have the cash but we need players
Bruce was forced to look at relegated teams, bought 11 players some on free trnasfers from relegated teams.
that didnt work, Bruce gets sacked, we get MON
He gives MON 30 million to spend
    That doesnt work either
Next year watch this space as i have no idea what is going to happen.
But i dont think we will get all that much for the players we have.
We havnt really got anyone from the academy to sell for high bucks.
TV cash will help to clear the debts.

Lets see if PDC is up to it, he talks and talks and talks a game, whether he can deliver or not remains to be seen.

The only known quantity in the whole of our saga is that ES has made all the right moves but got not nothing to show. Welcome to football.

    The voice of reason.

Like yourself, I'm not getting carried away because when we won 7 in 10 of MON's first games, I was thinking top 7 and cup success. Once bitten, twice shy

I know. It happens so bloody easily doesn`t it? We never learn, but, by the same token, we never give up hope either.

It`s the way we are mate. It`s the way we are.
