What would be your top price before you said no way that is just far too much? I am expecting to have to pay £700 this coming season as I have a seat which does not qualify for a concession but much more than that and I would have to think very hard indeed before renewing.
Last season i paid £575 which worked out at around £31 a game. Next season £665 should be my limit at £35 a game but i just know even if it's £1000 i will be scrimping and scraping to pay it. As they say you cant put a price on love.
Well lets hope they do expand the stadium in the near future & use it to offer more area of lower priced season tickets.
Well the Rungrado May Day Stadium in Pyongyang holds 150,000, I expect some of those seats are quite cheap:
Don't really care, if we bring in the calibre of players we have been linked to then i'm happy to pay more.
I reckon Cortese reads this thread and charges the maximum anyone states they would in theory pay, possibly plus a few pounds.
If people want the club to push further than it ever has, be prepared to put your hand in your pocket and pay your share!!
I hope you don't teach economics. Not a chance of that happening. Prices will never come down, no matter what happens with the stadium, they will continue to rise at a rate that massively outstrips inflation.
Not a penny! Am going to be in Russia from September until May 2014. Even if I stayed in the Fareham area, I would not pay a penny as there are better things to spend 700 pounds on such as holidays to parts of the world that I have never seen before. I love Southampton FC but not at the expense of living and seeing the diversity of life and places on this planet! Come to Yekaterinburg and sample the real Russia. If anyone is a qualified English teacher they will treat you like a king here. I have been treated like a head of state.
£0 Gutted as I won't be able to renew my season ticket for the 1st time in 5 years this coming season due to my work. For that reason alone we are guaranteed a stormer of a season!
As travel insurance would cost several times more than the price of overseas travel for me these days I rely on the very lovely Mrs Godders to drive me on sight seeing trips in this very lovely country of ours. Mind you we don't go so very far these days as our Morris Minor is not as reliable as it used to be. Last week we went Romsey and next week we are going to Winchester.
I'd pay any price. Any fan who doesn't, even if it means selling their house, kids and collection of Cliff Richard signed EP's... is not a proper fan.
Very tongue in cheek CBK! I have said it before, you have a dry SOH! And that is why you're an asset to this board!
Bloody hell you've got a good memory I had forgotten I'd been there. As I get older my mind doesn't just wander sometimes it buggers off completely. Any way Brittany doesn't count as in terms of driving it is no further away than Portsmouth and I have my little E111 replacement card thingy. The only problem with going to France is I have to keep telling the very lovely Mrs Godders to drive on the other side of the road. She scares the living daylights out of those Froggy drivers and puts the fear of God up me too. I cope though by wearing two pairs of incontinence pants.
Living where I do, I know several people with season tickets to arsenal, spurs, and something called "chelsea". I'm absolutely appalled by what they pay, and these are ordinary working people for the most part. Not sure where I'd draw the line, but the £575 I paid for this season in The Chapel was cheap in comparison to the clubs I've mentioned. Still a lot of money for me to find though.
Depends how much we spend on players. At the end of the day I'm getting a season ticket, the price doesn't matter.
At a part last night and there was an Arsenal season ticket holder there who paid £2800 for him and his two young sons....phew!
