I don't know a ****ing thing about him, but he's China's No.1, so he's probably half decent. I was feeling left out because I hadn't posted a single article about a player nobody had heard of, that we have absolutely no chance of signing. I'll now be most disappointed if he's not here by the first pre-season. Failing that, I'd go for Edmundo Zura, who plays in Ecuador, not only have I never heard of him, but I've never heard of the team he plays for either. Despite that, I believe that Trevor from Milton Keynes signed him for Barca on FIFA 11 and they won the Champions League, so he's got to be worth a look.
Bit of a difference between being picked for a Champions League game by a manager who has a proven track record of making quality players and being picked for an Asian country that have only made it through a ridiculously average World Cup qualification stage once in their history.
Yang Zhi would be playing for Barcelona if it wasn't or the fact he's not allowed out of the country. I say that, but it's only an assumption, as far as I'm aware I only ever saw him play once for Beijing Guoan and I can't remember what he was like. Still, he's no less likely a signing than half the rest of the crap we've had posted on here this week.
Edmundo Zura plays for Deportivo Quito. He warms the bench and is quite possibly one of the least talented football players I have ever seen. You made me laugh.
Don't you go dissing my man Zura, the man is an undiscovered talent. At least he was undiscovered until I googled **** footballers in Ecuador.
i'm being utterly pathetic I know but that precise google search brings up the name of Ulises de la Cruz.
He would be the first name on that google search. I'm watching him play right now and he just slipped and fell while trying to control the ball. De la Cruz was a good footballer, and a top guy as well.
I saw him play once for Beijing against Dalian whilst in China, quite competent, though whether he can handle the physicality of the EPL I don't know.
