Just seen this on the BBC website - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22563280. Both Poyet and his assistant have been suspended and told to keep away from the club. I wonder what's going on there????
Is this the committed manager NCFC need? I've never been convinced that he is, but there are some City fans who believe this countryman of Luis Suarez is the messiah we need. No thanks, is all I can say.
From what I can make of it, it seems they've suspended him for saying he might want to leave the club in the summer? Surely if you're concerned about a manager leaving you try and convince him he's wanted, not push him away? Unless they were hoping for a tidy compensation pay-out, which'd likely be reduced now. Still seems odd though. And Rick, judging the entirety of Uruguay by one person seems a little harsh.
I know it is DH, but I can do harsh as well! Seriously, it was a bit unfair of me but I really don't like Suarez - he scores too many goals against us for a start!
According to a mate who is a season ticket holder at Brighton, he says that the club are looking at a breach of contract. Something to with a rant at half time in their game against Palace. There is a rumour that someone went into the palace dressing room and had a crap on the floor
Seriously? That's hilarious From the Beeb article on it, the problem is his comments after the game where he discussed his future away from the club. I hadn't heard of anything else.
I saw the original heading and thought an Austrian was commenting on Brighton's new disciplinary procedures.
It's true! "Brighton are set to launch an investigation into an incident in the away dressing room ahead of Monday's Championship play-off against Crystal Palace at the Amex Stadium where excrement was smeared on the walls."
That's actually hilarious, although Brighton board in a difficult place. Would you sack a good manager for that? Or would you have to?
I read the E mail and unless I was mistaken the rant was about whoever did it.You can't sack a manager for that.Surely if it's true anyway Brighton will get charged.OK it's a joke, but a pretty dirty one IMO.
