Very surprised he has not been retained, he scored 7 goals in 20 games, I guess ultimately his fitness has cost him as he missed more games than he played. But I still would have kept him, if we are to release Bradley Wright-Phillips too we would be left with Kermorgant and Smith? Some strikers must surely be coming in the door during the summer period then I am sure.
Must have been on some high wages if we chose to let him go instead, never know might have some strikers coming in, maybe we've agreed BWP will get games next season so offered him a deal, I rated Haynes, if he could stay fit I thought he would have been the 20 goal a season striker we needed for the promotion push that I believe we can make.
Can't see us keeping BWP. The reason he wasn't getting games was probably because CP didn't think he was good enough at this level, so I expect him to go once Brentford's season is finished. It's getting interesting now.
Would've chosen Haynes ahead of BWP by the end of the season. O B I K A is a player I'm still not sure about. If he can keep up his tally of last minute winners, he'll be great (be nice if he comes free!) but thats rather a large if in my opinión. Has'nt Clive Mendonca got any children coming through?
