Don't think Leon 'fits' with many teams and that includes England. He's found a niche with us but unless he goes to a team that plays the same way he'll struggle. Routledge deserves a cap for this season's efforts. A classy player who has really applied himself this season. Now.....if only Dyer could match that.
I will be amazed if Hodgson calls him up. He has a disliking for us i feel. If routledge, briton had been performing like this for any other club they would be capped by now. Cant help it but thats the way i see it with woy. By the way I hope I am totally wrong.
As if to prove your point TLF.... Incredibly blind old fool. He doesn't have any holding midfielders in there bar Carrick....so a Britton callup wouldn't be a bad shout. I'd take Routs over Welbeck's current form as well....although Welbeck does seem to do ok in the England shirt.
There is no surprise in this. The guy is an icompetent old fool as far as i am concerned and only got the job as he is a yes man and fits the fa's stuffy image.
England will not go far with Hodgson, he's another out of touch with the modern game!.....................
