I will go for 20 to30 million nett 5 to 10 million in from selling the dead wood in the squad then 25 to 30 out on 5 or 6 first team starters. You can only hope !!!!!

I've put 10m - 15m. By the looks of things he is already targeting out of contract players, and Ellis Short apparently wants us to go down the road that the mags took. He will also look what happened when MON had 30m to spend. With the financial restraints as well, we can only up our wage budget by 4 million. So big money players would want big wages.
Need to spend 50/60mil on about 5/6 players but will probably end up being closer to 20mil (depending on who we get shot of) on about 5/6 players.

If we shop in the PL then we will need 50 million, Europe which is where we will look, especially Italy, then maybe 20 million for the same amount of players (whether they will be the same quality though???) I am not epecting the liks of cavani,Totti, Nesta type and its been years since I watched Italian football so i dont have any names, but there must be some decent players, especially CBs over there.
I'm not sure about CB's mate, I mentioned a holding midfielder for Genoa last season called Kucka, he's just signed for AC Milan a few days ago. There's another player who I think has potential to be a star and that's Circic, he plays for Torion. Plays on the wing and can beat a man and put a good ball in or cut in and get his shots away. Would probably cost 5m -6.5m. I think the majority of these signings, we won't of heard of. I haven't heard of the couple we are close to signing apparently. I hope he knows what he's doing, we still need experience cos Villa struggled this year
I only know that Italy used to be a PITA to score in, if you got 15 goals a season in Italy you were world class, hence why i mentioned good CB`s, it could be like Scotland now though for all i know (well maybe not that bad).
Na, that's still strong mate and Juventus have some cracking centre halfs, obviously out of our reach though. On a weekend in Italy, you are lucky if both teams score in more then a couple of games. Not many goals still and still slow nd boring. Paolo will be the man for that though.
I reckon Mig will go but for about £7-10 m hopefully, and we have Westwood another excellent keeper. there will be Man c, Wigan, QPR players available.
