And then tries some sort of scorpion-kick/handstand for the rebound.

    Hull 4-1 Cardiff,
    Hull 4-1 Watford,
    Hull 2-1 Fulham,
    Hull 2-1 Man City
    Hull 4-1 Southend (Deano hattrick)

They're all up there, I don't think there can ever be a best memory for me.

Hull 6-1 Tranmere was ****ing brilliant though. Good old Theo in goal <laugh>
(Edit) Bollocks to Dutch for beating me to it.

Yep, agree with all of those suggestions, Swindon at home in 05 was another one, even though we drew and missed a penalty I didn't expect us to get promoted that season.

Typing that has made me realise that from our last four promotion games we've had a penalty in three of them (Yeovil we scored one, Swindon and Cardiff we missed).

    A few good moments,
The watford play off game was immense, and certainly i will never forget that one.
Beating Kidderminster 5 (or 6) 1 is also a game that sticks in my memory. as does the Tranmere game.
    Delaneys goal vs Rochdale.
I can't remember wether it was when we got promotion from Lg1 or Lg2 but during the pre match warm up the players had a bit of a 'dance off' with Ash's break dancing particularly sticking in my memory.

Leeds Boxing day this season has to be the most one sided game we have seen at the KC.
4-1 Darlington was it? Thelwell scored opening day of the season was good.
    Dawson screamer against Kidderminster.
    Keates goal against Hartlepool.
    Geo,Folan v Fulham.
    Watford play-off semi.
    Ash's header vs Palace.

We beat them 4-1 the season before our first promotion - Ben Burgess hat-trick.
I think Jon Walters scored the other. How things change, eh?

I think Kidderminster must have been about my fifth ever City game - it's the first one I can really remember. And they say you always remember your first..

Dogs abuse for Mr Terry followed by sympathy for Mr Bridge and Mr Adebayour in the next match.

Damien Delaney's goal against Rochdale was a beauty in a really dull match. Funnily enough Grant Holt was playing in that game for the opposition.

Thats the one, I must remember it so much I've added a few more goals. If I rememer rightly it was a defensive balls up that got them into the game.

This isn't seriously,my best moment. But(oh i know iv'e said this before),but when the moaning Ashbee hating idiot, behind me,after we had conceded, loudly proclaimed "ArrrrrrrrGH Ashbee again" !

We were 20mins,into the game, and i took great joy, from turning round looking him in the eye,and with a wry smile,saying...Ashbees not playing today mate :emoticon-0108-speec.

You would be excused from thinking,he was just another smelly chav. As it turned out though,he was a 31 year old school teacher.

There used to be a bloke behind me who was always moaning about how **** Mendy was.

'Mendy, you useless bastard' he used to shout, he barely stopped shouting it.

    At George Boateng...

Well there have been plenty of crap games but wayyyy more good ones, I have 3 personal favs:

2-1 v QPR with Elliott coming off the bench to score two headers late on.
2-1 v Fulham, our first Premier League game, just great for City to win at home in the Premier League and Geo's goal was great.
2-0 v Leeds this season, I can't remember a more complete performance by a City team, we were immense and the fact it was against the White ****e made it even better.

Notable mention of course also goes to the Watford play off game.

August 2003, City 4, 1 Darlo. In my opinion it was where it all started. After the frustration of a Barry Conlon equaliser just before half time we came out and blasted them away at the start of the second half. Seem to remember that Alton Thelwell's was the best of the four.

I knew Grant Holt played for them. Didn't know Lambert was there though.

    Dec 15th 2002 - 1430hrs

A sneak preview tour of our new ground in the gloomy December drizzle, lilac integral lighting, bright green baize pitch, hi viz penguins making sure no one stepped on the pitch.

We saw the future- and it was **** all to do with the past.

Judging by all this lower league ****, some of our so-called fans must be hating the last 5 years.

    You're both right.

We also beat them 6-1 at home in the first promotion season. Dawson scored a screamer and France also scored on his debut. Think Stuart Green scored a free kick too.

    See above, you were right.

That Dawson volley is surely one of the best goals scored at the KC? Absolute beauty.

Anyone else think the Delaney goal against Bristol Rovers was better than the Rochdale one? If I remember right the Bristol Rovers game was the week after Yeovil and the KC was bouncing then Delaney did that?!
