Its an exclusive from Sports Direct's own news site though. You would think (as shocking as the presentation currently is on there) they would get news about Newcastle right given the obvious link.

I'd be astounded if this didn't happen as we're a shoe in for Champions League qualification next year, we'll p*ss the league, win the FA Cup and stroll the League Cup just for good measure. The fact that Rooney is pretty good mates with Messi and Ronaldo so they'll probably put in a good word about Pardew. I also think that Mike putting all members of the first team squad on £350,000 a week could sway it for him.

But isn't the bloke who owns Sports Direct the same clown who got Newcastle relegated, appointed Joe Kinnear and built on finishing 5th by buying one central midfielder from Ajax?

Why do people even bother making threads about this sort of ****?

He's on 4x what we'd pay him and he'd cost 40m+ at least.

I tried to find the original new story on the sports direct new website but the link is broken, also the site they have set up there is terrible. I think Mike has got the work experience child putting it together for him!

Actually, when I post OT threads they usually have some substance to them.

This is just posting a link to a stupid article linking us to a player we know we'll never get.

It's not even a thread really.

Tash take a look at this link:

    http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier League/Newcastle United

Nearly every story is about this. How is it conceivable that a NUFC forum, set up to discuss NUFC related stories shouldn’t have a thread about it?

Whilst at the same time in your mind it is perfectly acceptable to prattle on about any old non NUFC related ****e as long as it has substance behind it.
