I would imagine if he's innocent he will still go... but if he is a rapist I certainly wouldn't want him to stay, can't imagine any in the QPR family would.
Arrested on suspicion along with 2 others. Hardly a guilty verdict. Think its only right to reserve judgement for now.
I felt physically sick when I read this. All the usual 'innocent until...' caveats, but the only vague hope is that the CPS decide not to prosecute. Otherwise we are in for months of crap, unless they plead guilty quickly and spare the poor girl the ordeal of court. I know, fat chance. The impact on QPR should not be our main concern here, what the **** has gone wrong with the world should be. But I've nearly had enough. My local non League team, Leamington (known as the Brakes) were promoted to the Conference South (or North, not decided yet) this year. £185 for a season ticket, 10 minutes drive. I know whose wages I'd rather be contributing to.
Firstly, Remy is innocent until proven guilty. Obviously it's not great that he's even accused, but we have a legal system for a reason. However, I did want to say that rape rarely has to do with people who can't get a willing partner. It has everything to do power and if anything those in positions of privilege are more likely to desire that power trip.

This should be an open and shut case either way, either she has rohypnol in her system or she doesnt. As someone posted in another thread, someone at their uni accused a guy of raped, his life was ruined for 18 months while it was investigated and ihs name plastered all over the news. She finally admitted on the eve of the trial that she made it all up because she didnt want people to think she was a slapper. Even then she didnt get named. Someone involved should go to prison for a long time. 2 other 23 year olds were involved. I really hope they werent other players.
If it is true then justice will hopefully be served and the lass gets the appropriate support and counselling and would empower those who are victims of rape to stand up against their attackers famous or not. If it isnt true and its a fabrication then she needs to feel the full force of the justice system as well as some sort of counselling. The negative effect this could have on those who have been raped coming forward could be damaging. I believe the police and CPS will investigate thoroughly due to the current on-goings with celebrities and sexual offences.
