Found out this morning that I have been laid-off from work ....not good for a 62 year-old,but the good news is that my club are still in the top tier of football for next season!!What a good way to end a bad day..I was an Arsenal fan for a day,and feel like a traitor!!Well done Paulo..you have done your job. Can't wait for next season.
Sorry for you there mate. Been laid off from my last 2 jobs, Northern Rock & then the council, so know exactly how you feel. Had to work part time for the last 2 years, look every week for something new but very little knocking about. Most of the time it would be a case of trading one pile of **** in for another so just figure i may as well hold my horses until something worthwhile comes along. Good luck though mate, hope something crops up fast for you.
Aw ****, thats a ****ing bummer kidda. Still we are all in this together? Like **** we are. Keep your chin up and at least we can breath easy tonight regards the football. Scant consolation for a lost job but at least it raises a smile? Good luck in the job hunt matey.
Good luck mate - happened a few times to me and its a bummer - just keep at it and eventually something will turn up
Been there myself mate not a great feeling. Keep looking get the work where you can, it's all you can do. Ps am in Carlisle Saturday if you are close I'll buy you a pint we can celebrate another team doing us a favour.
Same thing happened to me back in February. Applied for loads since then & had one reply which was a no.
That's a **** bit of news, pal. every cloud and all that, so I hope you find find some employment silver lining soon.
Sorry to hear that Calc. Awful times for some folks at the moment. All the cutbacks in the nhs are worrying me and my colleagues at the moment too.
Thanks for the comments lads...us Sunderland fans look after each other!!I will survive just like my team.
Sorry to hear that and I only hope that you are not forced into signing for JSA which is basically where so called 'advisers' try to bully you into working for nothing.
