I wouldn't tar everyone with the same brush John. Lots of folk, myself included enjoy both games football and rugby (indeed more RU then RL for me these days) and want all the Hull clubs to do well. I don't understand the mentality of hate and wanting to do the other game/team down in either direction to be honest. Each to their own. If one doesn't like a sport then ignore it...simples! EDIT: mind you....Feckin boat race, feckin hate it always the same two universities, posh cnuts, when will my uni get a chance eh? Feck em
Final warning on here as well. Don't insult cretins. Why even buy the club. If he wanted the stadium he could have just let the club die, and then when the stadium dragged FC and the Council into financial difficulties picked it up even more cheaply. He wouldn't have any animosity for letting us die as it wouldn't be like he turned his back on us, and the Council would be desperate to offload it with what ever planning permission he wanted. If he had the ground now and tried doing anything with it that wasn't in the clubs' interests the Council would just deny planning permission.
I only had to see that the link lead to Hull FC forums to know that there was ****ery afoot in that place. They are bitter as **** for whatever reason and do nothing but talk ****e about what a massive club they are all the time, never mind the fact that they are the MK Dons of RL.
