Can't see it happening but I'd like Wigan to stay up, their response to " that tackle " really pissed me off and showed a lack of class by Martinez and Whelan, that said I like the way Martinez approaches the game and the way they play. The only downside is that there will be a plethora of even ****tier arses in unwashed land and with the wind blowing from the east the stench could be quite unbearable.

 

If you had said which team you would like to see relegated at the begining of the season
most of us would of plummed for the Vile
but as Jim has said Wigan have not made many friends up here
I can always wait another season for them if it means the Vile go down

Would like Wigan to win tonight and then go down on the last day of the season.

A year without the derby is like a year without th FA cup, but keeping the mackems squirming for another week might be fun

I hear what your saying in terms of the derby but watching them go down would be hilarious. I would say though that if they were to go down I don't think they would be back up in any hurry!

 

Would anybody consider having him at the toon based on his FA Cup performance? I for one would love him at the Toon, but it should be discussed to Haidara first to see if its ok with him. The kid could have ended his career, but I'd rather us have him and start rather than some other crap we've had this season. I'd also say to stick a bid in for Griffiths at Hibs/Wolves. Just earned Scottish player of the year and wouldn't demand a big fee.

 

Basically I think you have to move past what happened with Haidara. You can't cut your nose off to spite your face. if he was available I'd have him in a shot. He is young, talented and every bit the modern wide man. Yes he has a twatful side to him but so have plenty others like Barton, Dyer, Bellamy, Smith. even Sir Alan was a dirty ****er! I wouldn't even ask Haidara, they are professionals, accept it or move on.

I want Wigan to win tonight simply because a few weeks ago we were being bombarded with Mackems telling us we were down and that they would finish in the top half etc etc.

I don't care who stays up. Whoever is in the bottom 3 deserves it, the same would have applied to us had we gone down.

The challenge was a very very bad one no doubt and thank god Haidara made the recovery without any serious damage, made even worse by the respose from wigan, the FA and how that match ended.

However based on other perfomances and in particular the FA cup final clichy is still trying to catch him and when he does its only to jump into his back pocket because thats where he had him for the whole game. The lad is young and he has an obvious talent, I very much doubt he went out there to intentionaly hurt anyone but regardless hopefuly the experience from this might have had a positive effect not to go in like that again and if signed for the toon i'm sure it would not be long for people to cheer instead of jeer when hes whiping up that wing but I doubt hes even on the radar for the toon.

Hated the challenge but I hated the rection of matinez, that senile old coffin dodger Whelan and the spineless FA more.
