Good signing from what I know, seems like a bit of a leader, just hope it doesn't restrict Hyam's development.

Straight swap for N'Diaw I would imagine (and has been suggested a lot)

A good age at 27 and will be looking to push on his career so I can only see this as a positive (particularly being a free transfer)

My only hope is he can put a tackle in and cover the ground like N'Diaw.. but he can also pass the ball and has something between his ears <ok>

He's anything but. Every City fan who rated him will talk all day long about the game he played v Cardiff at Right back and had Bellamy in his pocket , but the truth is , that was the 1 stand out game in 300 he had for us.

Doesn't do enough as a midfielder for me , maybe MM see's him as a RB.

Can pass well with both feet, tackles well and has a decent engine on him. Should be a good player for you. As glyn says above, also played excellently at right back for a spell. 1 stand out game in 300 is pretty harsh imo.

None taken , you're almost certainly right.

I'll check back in 6 months to see how you rate him then.

Does this now make it a double signing on July 1st with DM..?

Seems a good signing, midfield & RB, as it looks likely that we will not be signing Stearman.

'Coz we'd prefer to pay him full wages then pay him off in a years time, after making 3 sub appearances.

You've got to give credit to McLean, we stayed up, and he was a part of it. <ok>

Welcome to Town Cole.
This statement sums it up.....
“I had a few options but with Mick McCarthy and Terry Connor in charge at Ipswich, that shows the intent of the club to move forward and I can’t wait to get going.”
Just goes to show that location isn't everything.

I like him, always thought he was a steady player, a bit like N'Daw but with the ability to pass the ball.

At 6'1" he'll add a bit of height to the team too.

There seems to be some speculation on Foxes talk that they might come in for Cresswell, hopefully this is idle gossip, but if it happened, surely it would be a good idea if we had a swop deal for Nugent, with a big cash adjustment our way.

Welcome to Town, Skuse.

From Bristol - not delighted with this transfer, however, possibly better than what we have ( area where we are currently short ) free transfer is a big plus too.

Minimal risk - 3 year deal could be the only downside.
