John you should ring the club ASAP and explore all the avenues they can offer. Maybe you could reserve an exec box for a game. They may well twist their policies a little for the extremes circumstances, but I'd get in touch with a senior figure rather than a jobs worth behind a desk with a telephone.

Take no notice of him John, TWF is taking out his arse as per usual.

    It's great you're coming to a match, it's a hell of a trek mind.

If you do get across the pond for a City match have a good'un mate.

Oh I will be there same as every year first match, I meet up with a lot of the boarders in The Avenues before the game, Ricardo was there last year along with a hell of a lot of others from here, Hull City Mad and CI. We had a ball I will tell you something sometimes people squabble about stupid stuff in football forums but of all the folks I have met in real life I've never met one of them that wasn't a top fella.
Anyway back on topic if you are coming from afar for the first match let me know as soon as possible so I can get a piss up organized and a box or tickets sorted.

Oh yeah and I saw Sagee every lunchtime for a pint in the old Hull Cheese and met National Tiger too who is also a real nice fella. Maybe this year I can get together with OLM and DMD to see what they are all about :)
Following Hull City is not about who we are playing or what division we are in its about the experience of going to see a match with your friends and having a good time, I don't care if it is Macclesfield or Man Utd still feels the same when you win some people need to get their head around that concept

Thanks again John but I wont be over in August planning a big party for my 60th etc, but I will be over sometime next season to achieve my ambition of seeing at least one Premier League game for the first time.Over the years ihave said on here how jealous I was of you lot who get to see City everyweek etc.But at the same time I wish you all luck.I chose to go to Australia and I am enjoying it but please TWF do not put me or other expats in the category of part timers etc who just ponce in when we like.We have done the hardyards,.old school. So please give us some respect.By the way if you ever come to Oz you would be welcome because you are first and foremost a City fan.

I will raise a glass to you Melbourne before the first game in the Avenues and propose a toast to all the absent tigers round the world who can't make it mate

Having been an exile in Scotland, even though I was not as far away as most of you guys, you are just as much a fan in my eyes as anyone that is lucky enough to go to matches week in week out. I am luck to have just moved back to the area, but like a lot of you, have done the hard miles of support when we were in the lower leagues, and just because of geographical situations cannot get to matches these days. As I said I am lucky and can get to see the team again week in week out, but good luck to you guys and hope you get over to see the matches you want.

Good idea John. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll make it in August but like others, am looking forward to at least being able to watch the games on telly here in Melbourne.
I agree with the post that said it doesn't matter who we play or what division. During my three most recent visits, I saw City play the Wendies in the Championship, Fulham in the Prem and on my last visit our 3 - 0 friendly against Liverpool.
I think it's fantastic that our team has supporters all over the world that don't forget their roots, continue to support the Tigers and try and catch a game whenever possible. I'm sure TWF was attempting a wind-up!

I was at that Liverpool friendly match as well,"champions league, you havin a Laugh" Good night wasn't it.
Home is not a dot on a map, it's where your heart lives, things take you away, usually a job or a woman but you never really leave.
Only about 10 weeks now and I'll be at the KC watching city and stomping round the old town and having a pint of Sam Smiths in Blue Bell, I can't wait.

With you all the way on this one TWF. We buy 2 season passes for relatives in Hull and have done so for over 10 years and have never seen Hull City play at the KC.It does ensure that if we do decide to come over we will have a seat for any home match.

Well unfortunately 800 quid to see one match a year is a little beyond my means Mrs BMB but I do applaud your support of the club,
However like I said where were all these devoted fans last season when I bought 6 tickets for friends of mine at the cost of 180 quid the morning of the Brighton game?
The club have my details and my purchasing record of when I buy tickets and they have already told me I will have tickets for the first game ahead of some wealthy Aussie that never goes to see Hull City that buys seasons tickets just in case they happen to be in town for a Man United game!

I do not support the club. My husband receives a small pension from the UK government and most of it goes back to pay for the passes for his niece and her husband.

Wealthy Aussies have no need to travel to Hull to see Manchester United. They play here in Sydney in July. I have more important things to do with my time but my husband is attending the match. He tells me the last time he saw Manchester United play was in the early 60's against Benfica when Eusebio played.

The only match that would get me on a plane to the KC Stadium would be Hull City v Darlington.

Wow Wolves, Bristol, and Barnsley you picked a hell of a time to get back to Hull for 3 games. You must have been tearing your hair out
