... summarised the Premier league by suggesting that Fulham were safe but Southampton, Villa, Sunderland and Wigan were still in the relegation positions. I would like to know how he worked that out.

I am starting to think a lot more like Alan Brazil who thinks the Moose is an absolute prat of the highest order.

Yeah moose is a bit of a prat. Listen to Talksport a lot at work and some of the rubbish they spout really is poor. Just a little bit of research would not go a miss.

Don't see why we should mention David Cameron at this stage.

The biggest tool was the clown on solent. I had the misfortune to listen to the last 4 minutes as the stream I was watching froze. The took kept saying we weren't safe and even when people texted in, he still.spent 10 mins telling them they were wrong. Once it dawned on the plum, he then started blaming the wi fi at Sunderland , saying his phone and lap top didn't update the table. The moose is a national guy, this chump was local and meant to be a saints fan. Everybody knew that a point saw us safe, bunch of ****ing amateurs.

I don't suppose uncle Dave was any help next to him, he's so out of touch , he probably thought it was going down to goal averages.

The BBC are also pretty poor. On their website now there are two article about Mancini. One is titled "Man Management Cost Mancini" and the other is "Lame Title defence costs Italian".

OK BBC, so which one is it?

Moose is a mouthy buffoon who tends to try and stir controversy whilst having about 20% of any facts. Absolutely best to ignore. See also the likes of Jon Gaunt or James Whale.....

Saints aren't safe... We lose 12 0 and Wigan win 1-0 Wigan overtake us .... I know it's highly improbable but lets be honest when do saints do it the easy way??

My point was that neither are Fulham but Abrahams ignored that fact.

I assume this is something that a friend told you because obviously you weren't actually listening to it. <whistle>

Even more improbable than that. The way you have it, if Wigan win 1-0, then Aston Villa are relegated. If Wigan win 5-4, then Saints are relegated as Villa will have scored more goals. The trick is that Villa have to out score Saints, yet lose by only one goal, hence their own highly improbable scoreline. Now carry on.

Perhaps the default position ought to be that Talksport is a load of codswallop and it's better to be tuned-in elsewhere. I find it slightly extraordinary that people think that radio station personnel are some god-like figures who know everything, and the consequences of everything, immediately after something happens. They're not. They're idiots just like us. Uninformed until someone tells them the facts. And if the facts are incorrect...

Its not just talksport, but BBC said the same thing on the radio on Sunday after the results. After our draw they carried on about how we were now in trouble along with Sunderland, Wigan and Villa - no mention of Fulham who are below us in the league!
