It looks to me that the artificial fibre matting under the grass is shot. Will we be able to get it replaced for the new season?

There are no home games in June, I assume they'll do it then.

I know we couldn't stage the Campbell fight at the KC because the pitch was being replaced.

    When's the squash tournament?

I assume they won't be doing anything until after that.

I don't know if the fight has been fixed on a date that Craven Park was available, but it's July 13th now.

Looks like the work will be done early June then, giving it a couple of weeks to settle in before it's used again.

Is it a full re-lay or just the surface?

suppose the electronic boarding will be going up soon again around the north, east, and south stand..

also there is the hawk eye cameras to put in around the stadium for goal line technology

Dont think that the egg chasers have any home fixtures in June. So it looks like June will see the pitch re.done

I understood it was a full re-lay, but I can see them doing that in four weeks.

The card entry system needs resolving too, if anything it has made getting into the stadium worse than before. It's a complete waste of money as it hasn't saved on the removal of the turnstile operators either. Getting into the ground with smaller crowds was problematic towards the end of the season, I dread to think what it will be like with near capacity crowds week in week out. A swipe card system would have been a much better long term solution.

The nothing wrong with the card system, it's a piece of piss to use. The problem comes from morons being unable to put a barcode near the scanner after they turn up at 255 then whine that they miss the kick off

Keep forgetting about this but it is another thing that really excites me about next season, don't know why maybe just the chance to be part of history!

No it's ****. The reason for putting in these 'type' of systems is to save money on operatives. It has neither improved entry or saved the wages, as the 'Morons' as you put it struggle with placing the card in the correct place. If you think it's good or acceptable the you're very easily pleased. It's a recurring problem even turning up 20-30 minutes before kick off. Not sure if it is specifically certain areas of the ground, but it isn't great.
