As a former resident of Leicester, I do find it hard not to smile at this. However, it could have easily been us in their situation had that game at Vicarage Road gone differently. Have a bit of humilty, but to any Leicester fans reading this, you really shouldn't have given it as large as you did. Learn your lesson.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8711161/ So, according to this we are interested in Andy King. I can only assume they typoed and omitted "Crown Jewels" off the end.
Thing is Tommy, I'm reading it but don't recall ever 'giving it large' - in fact I expect that there were only 3 or 4 of ours that perhaps did ... and actually, nothing much wrong in being bullish about your club for me ... particularly when you are young. Humilty is a funny thing ... in fact it's not even a word... but I get your drift
Andy King has been getting better and better for us of late - he's grown and matured as a player and has struck up a very promising partnership in central midfield now with Matty James, which is one of the few positives for us to salvage from a disappointing season - disappointing in terms of where we were placed in January and the implosion that followed, that is ...
I share your joy B2W as over the years i have developed a gross dislike for Leicester and the fact that their fans now sing that hideous 'we love you' foreign ultra type **** song that Palace sing all the time. The fact that it was a blatant dive for the penalty forced me to shout obscenities at my telly on a sunday causing my Mrs to get on my case and cause a bad atmosphere, so for the keeper to save it and then Watford go up the other end and win the game was justice, the gutted look of Pearson and the tears of Knockaert were a added bonus. Hope alls good with yourself.
Yeh, thought I would put it on here seeing as you deleted from your boards (miserable ****ers, cant you take a joke !) Anyway, I think we will be in with some derisory offers for some of your 'better' players, you know, just like Pearson did with us?
We don't have any rivals. We did have rivalry with Sheffield United started with that match at Bramall Lane 40-odd years ago but we haven't played Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday or Leeds United often enough to treat them as rivals. Middlesbrough seem the most logical but it just hasn't happened. If it's a couple of local derbies most years I think they would be classed as rivals. Other rivals would be if they were challenging for the league championship together - Manchester United & Liverpool, Manchester United & Leeds, Manchester United & Arsenal. I can't think of many more.
What i want to know is what the heck has happened to Chris Wood.? Ruddy awful in both games. imo. Maybe he now has his feet under the table and with his mega bucks contract for a few years could not care less. Just another wonga mercenary. Glad the Foxes signed him.
Mystic Tickles - we have been asking ourselves the same thing - has looked a shadow of the player that first arrived tbf.
Indeed. Well he used Millwall as his shop window. Sadly Chris Wood is not the first of this type of player.
Square Head probably tried to get him to change his game - or put him on the wing. His goals for Millwall are the reason they didn't go down
His lack of goals for Lesta are the reason the Foxes are not in the play-off final at the very least ?
