Yip..That 5 minutes of time and effort it takes to give a round of applause to our new manager, and certain members of the team who most certainly deserved it, proved just too much for the vast majority..

He got one as far as we were concerned, and a good chanting aswell, as i said we stayed giving applause until danny rose left

See above, we chanted for paolo & mig and applauded danny then left

Agreed after a horrendous season, we are 10th in the form guide, 8 points from 18, nothing short of outstanding, considering the rest has been ****

I booed the ****s off & they deserved it to. let's be honest, Southampton was miles the better team & the only reason I stay behind was because my lass wanted to take some ****ing pictures.

Di Canio > Obviously noticed the lack of fans / the fans sad faces after the game

Di Canio: "To be honest, the players have done an amazing job because it was difficult.
"Even if you are a good manager with a good staff who tries to help psychologically during the week, when you work with some habits for eight months, it's difficult.
"Even if you try to believe in something more, it's difficult. But I have to tell you, they have done a fantastic job in my opinion.
"If we get one point, we are mathematically safe, so it's good to arrive at the last game and know if we draw or if we win, we stay up so it is in our hands.
"That is already a good signal.
"Next season, I don't want to see sad faces. It was difficult for the players to understand, but I told them the point was a really important point.
"I am sure next year when we have this lap with the players, we are going to see more happy faces and maybe celebrate something different."

I was away at the final whistle the same as the previous 5 seasons, very disappointed with all 6 seasons and we have not moved on, in the echo Di canio says he will make BIG changes In the summer (July 1st), well in defence he better get 3 players in, and midfield wise I go straight in for Mcmanaman of Wigan as he ran the show at Wembley.

I left but only because I had to get to Pickering for 7:00 (was 10 minutes late). People forget that, out of the 6 games PDC has been in charge, we've got 8 points and lost twice. The games (Stoke and Southampton) were games we likely would've lost prior to Di Canio. We got a point out of both games. He has steadied what was (let's be honest) a sinking ship. Hope Arsenal win tomorrow and then look onwards to next season

Ill be honest i didnt even know there was one. Was on my way down the stairs as the final whistle went as i was pissed off enough with the worst game of football ive seen us play probably ever that i couldnt be arsed getting stuck in traffic jams. I also ran back to the car just to let off some steam.

Me and my two mates (been going to games together for 30 years) are not renewing mate.

After this season and the last 2 games I'm well pleased with my decision. I want to see some action not words from PDC before I consider a season ticket again. After 39 years of blind loyalty, this season has finished me.

Time for SAFC to put up or shut the **** up now. I'm tired of false promises and rhetoric. I want to see the difference before I come back.

I think that with Di Canio now in charge we are in for some exciting times ahead. There was never any danger of me not renewing my season ticket.

We all said the same when Keane came....then Bruce....then MoN..........see the pattern here?

There was never any danger of me renewing whilst the fare served up was a ****ty as a ****ty **** thing? Until I actually see a real improvement I won't be so willing to part with my money and if they are relegated I won't be back period.

Football has to improve 100%. Time for the football club to start delivering now as I have delivered for 39 years without much in the way of a return. Thats not the case from here on in.

As you say, but i suspect he will need a sharp blade on his guillotine. There is a lot of pruning of dead wood to be done in a very short
    time.

I do hope Cest's (and others) decision bites him in the arse (in the best way possible - a successful SAFC team).

However I do know that my family are feeling the same if not worse, yet have renewed.

I do hope we are better off next year, for all fans involved.

We are a big club, and we supporters deserve more than we currently deserve.

Nothing would please me more pal, however, I've heard the talk for that long now I'm immune to it.

Less talk and more action please and until that time, as Duncan Bannatyne might say, I'm out.
