This side will go straight down to division 1 without question. Our aim next year should be to stay in the championship providing we can offload 8 or 9 players.

nonsense from Redknapp.. We haven't got much quality in the team? Well three of them had enough quality to win the Champions league and get to 5 finals and win several premier league and other major league titles. He's brought in 20m of talent from abroad in just two players so instantly that has to tell you at least 5 of the potential starting line up should have enough quality. Add to that an England keeper who played at a world cup, and England international striker and Europa league finalist, an ex-real madrid midfielder and spanish under 21 international and two excellent up and coming loan signings from top premier league sides…. Dont harp on about quality just because you want an excuse for relegation and the power to buy in your own players.

The squad has plenty of quality, the players just have not performed and the manager(s) have not had the ability to get them playing as a team. Im not saying we made good signings as we didnt at all, but we didnt buy in rubbish, some has-beens admittedly but they are not bad footballers, they just didnt care. Well its up to the manager to motivate them and get them caring then.

Im fed of of HR criticizing the team. If he says they are not good enough and he wants to ship them out, why should they care about playing for us? The guy is a fool of the highest order. Awful backward appointment, awful backward tactics and ultimately we have been left with a backward and disjointed team. Good job HR, a real winner.

Beginning to come round to this point of view. I am sure Harry is playing poker / chess with The Board but he is beginning to sound a little like a broken record.

I agree with Col, too. The quality of the play offs was poor though suspect tonight's might be better. Let's see.

He may be full of **** but he's absolutely right. If unchanged the current squad would be relegated again next season. No doubt of that in my mind regardless of the pedigree of the individuals. With the exception of Hill and Townsend I would be delighted if the entire starting line up from yesterday's game were gone come August. Quite simply, players of any decent standard could do no worse.

Conversely (and no doubt controversially) I think SWP and Jamie Mackie could light up the Championship with a decent goalscorer in the team.

Like I said before, Redknapp gets appointed and says he's confident that the Rs can stay up. But now that he's failed, he's changed tack and is playing down the team's chances for next season. I want him to stop slagging the team off - there's nothing else new to say about the squad - and just get on with the job of winning promotion next year. I want a war cry, not Redknapp getting his retaliation in first.

Like it or not, the team has to be built on a nucleus of players that currently reside within this squad. We cannot have another en masse clear out and hope we get lucky. Fernandes needs a manager that understands this and can get the best out the players at his disposal, capitalise on those that are marketable and strengthen where needed. We need a leader in the middle of the park and somebody that can put the ball in the net at least 20 times a season (like Rhodes or Austin).

Todate, I've pretty much given Harry a free run and gone along with his comments BUT, as 'Rangercol' has stated ............. he seems to be full of it with this outburst.

I'm thinking that he is trying to 'put it out there' to TF about paying up the ones we can/t get rid of / and or ones nobody wants cause Harry's saying they can't stay either.
Not to mention he wants to bring in more of his own.

I wonder if TF is starting / will have a change of heart about Harry and what he can do for the club.
The players have already given up for this term .............. shame on them.

Spot on Col. I was at the game and from what I saw we've actually gone backwards since Redknapp took charge. I just can't understand it, but what really bugs me is the way that he won't take any responsibility for it. The more time goes on the more of a mistake I think it was to get rid of Neil. Grim, grim times.

I have really had enough of Redknapp and all his excuses. He had most of the season including a transfer window to put things right. On paper we have better players than either the team that won us promotion or the team that kept us in the PL last year. We are going backwards on his watch. The fact that Hughes was such a despicable human being has given Redknapp too many excuses. I really believed that with the positive news of the ST prices and the great 82/83 team there, we would play with some pride yesterday. Instead, he picked both Bosingwa and Mbia who have made it clear they don't want to be here and that sapped everyone's joy from the get-go
Am hoping Jol is jumped/ pushed from Fulham and they offer him the job there....

Its almost as if hes trying to get TF to sack him by saying exactly what TF doesnt want him to say and coming out with negative bollocks every week.

    This much I agree with.

Moreover, we did look very good at times under Hughes but didn't have much luck imo. Under Harry, we seem to have got worse and worse, although perhaps having relegation confirmed has contributed to that. What I really struggle to understand is how Harry could pick Bosingwa and Mbia to start. The latter was rightly subbed at half time the previous week and his replacement, Derry, looked much better. On top of that, how can you prefer Hoilett to Taarabt? Hardly on the basis of his defensive ability; and Adel definitely offers more going forward at the moment.

Harry's the one that doesn't want to be with us next season, he seems to be doing everything in his power to get the sack.
We came up with a squad that was on paper no better than what we have and alot less talent. If I was Harry I would be doing everything possible to keep players like Adel onside because the Championship is just the league that he will take apart again. Instead, he's using his legendary motivation skills to further disintegrate any confidence they may have had.

Harry you're a lucky boy to have Tony as boss, Flavio and Co. would have had you out ala Paulo on a breach of contract with no payout.

Harry's sayings bear approximately the same relationship to the truth as did Colin's.

Personally I've a predilection for honesty. More important is whether these words work in the interests of QPR. So far, I admit to being "less than enthusiastic" as to what has been achieved. But Harry has a strong track record over many years and the confidence of the owners, so I'm holding back any reservations about rubbishing the squad, & backing our manager to apply his methods successfully.

Like most on here I beginning to realise that Arry hasn’t got a clue both tactiacally and with his handling of his current squad. This is more negative comments from a man who’s negativity has been seen in our consistently negative performances. Of course were gonna sign a few players he should just shut up!!

He’s on however many million quid a year backed up by an army of coaches and his only tactic has been to put everyone behind the ball and then lump it to Zamora.

Yesterday was our chance to get a bit of pride back into the club. He’s talked only this week about instilling discipline and he follows that up by starting Hoillett, Mbia and Bosingwa. Also as good as Townsend is why on earth did he play him yesterday. Instead of those 4 he should have played Adel, Derry, Harriman and Mackie. Harriman is one for the future so give him a run out and help his long term development.

He’s already mentioned once that we might have a bit of difficulty next year and now he’s banging on again. Needs to shut his bloody mouth and crack on with it. Surely cant be helping the season ticket sales.

If he wasn’t such a mug he would have realised players he has the makings of a very good squad already and we will inevitably make some additions as well so stop making a fuss. Perfect example of his errors is his handling of DJ. A player with proven goal scoring ability at that level and someone who is a genuine fan who wants to do well for this club. So Harry goes and turfs him out on loan again.

If he doesn’t with a few more additions that he’s confident of at least reaching the play offs next year then he should just walk away now. Personally i'd rather he did so we could get Poyet if Brighton stay down or even Karl Robinson or Eddie Howe

I am reserving judgement. I feel there is definitely an element of managing our expectations going on here with Harry but I don't think he would have stayed if he didn't think we have a chance of going up again quite quickly. A couple of mr mates said he has been at Pallace for their last couple of games so I think he is busy thinking about players for next season and probably (like us) wants to see the back of this season.

Some harsh views on Harry here, which have not taken long to surface...I guess he does invite it!

Personally I think he will do well with us in the Championship next season and quite like him. I think some are being over critical and looking for someone/something to fling some mud at, but can also fully understand frustrations and being annoyed at Harry's ramblings. He does like to have a ramble at a press conference doesnt he!?

I can not help but feel that he might be openly criticising players in an effort to try and get something out of them...throwing down the gauntlet so to speak...some players seem to react quite well to this kind of treatment and not much else has worked this season. Just another point of view.

That's a damned good shout. From his whole demeanor and the way he talks about the club and the players I can't help but get the impression that he doesn't want to be here. Could be that he's trying to talk himself out of the job.

It's no surprise to me that he's not getting the best out of the players and that they lack confidence when the gaffer himself seems to be skulking around with a such a defeatist and negative manner about him.
