Going to Turkey next year, first Anton, now him. Im beginning to like the Turks. Hopefully we wont be subsidising his wages. I hope DT isnt too upset!
Good riddance Boswinga. I will never go to LR whilst mercenaries like him are in in our team. I can tolerate bad players if they put the effort in. Ive supported QPR for 35 years and been every season to at least 10 home games each season. The writing was on the wall after the MK Dons drubbing and haven't been back since thank god. Lets get some kids in the side next year and see some passion and team spirit.
Remember the guy who leaked team news and warnock threatened to publish his email? Its from him. Theyve agreed a deal but its not signed and sealed yet.
Bosingwa, I think I speak for everyone who supports our club by saying...Get the **** out of our club and never return.
I am a little sad to see him go in that he represents what might / should have been at QPR this season. We also have to question whether there was a natural bias against the bloke because of being so recently ex-Chelsea. At least SWP came via City. He did not handle his own PR very well and refusing to sit on the bench was the beginning of the end. However, hasn't Taraabt behaved equally petulantly (or even worse)? After yesterday, it is absolutely right that he goes. Just sad, sad and sad for QPR. Objectively he was not the worst player this year IMO.
I don't think he will ever be one of the greats but... Champions League winner's medal to being booed out of a relegated team in less than a year. What a downfall. There is a poison in our club.
It takes a Turk to do that.... http://www.lettersofnote.com/2009/10/we-all-feel-like-that-now-and-then.html?m=1
I thought Bosingwa had looked classy in some recent games but, for me, yesterday summed up his attitude problem. If only one player leaves QPR this summer, please God let it be him.
Objectively he was by a country mile. Champions League winner. Being better than some other but making defensive howlers, lacking any bottle to put his foot in where it might hurt, and having the footballing brain of a gnat means that his faults are magnified by the level of the hype and expectation. Another sad lesson. judge a player by his own attributes - not the team he played for.
Let's stuff him, truss him, send him on his way, and raise a glass.......... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
