We must beat Everton & Man United

So both man utd and Everton made a real effort to make a party atmosphere to say good bye to their managers.
So fingers crossed inept pardew will be gone in the summer and Sunday is hopefully his last game.
I believe we need to make it become a carnival atmosphere one that every one at the club will know our thoughts on the cockney cock.
Any ideas?? Maybe we could all dress up as clowns or jokers

Looks like Pards and couldn't find his way out of a paper bag with both hands.

Then once he's fired we adapt the costume with a cigar and become Hannibal from the A Team.

We have not let in as many goals in a season since 91/92 gullit was sacked after the Sunderland 2.1 defeat

 

In all seriousness I don't dislike him to that extent, Gullit never achieved what Pards did last year.

That 5th placed finish has to be taken into account and I'm grateful to him for that, we had a great season last year.

But you can't lurch from that to this, it's demented.

 

maybe he deserves it on that basis then... although pardew has failed but at least he hasn't been a dick about it. When gullit was sacked I remember hating him and I don't hate pardew.

Just the way our fans are. The problem with him staying is he is now hated by a good 80-90%. Many have started to get personal. The heritage comments have re-surfaced etc. Is there really much point in him continuing because he won't be given a chance. I believe we as fans need to learn the art of patience but I doubt it will happen in my lifetime.

 

I don't get how anybody can defend him were you on holiday for the derby and the liverpool game ??

I don't know how this season can have any positives a host of talented players and we are celebrating we stayed up

But there is sensible patience within reason – not unrealistic fantasy but acceptable levels of expectation given the size of the club.

Someone has to pay for letting the club and more importantly the fans down. It won't be Mike, it won't be Derek and it won't be the players.

The board were stupid to give him that 8 year deal, everyone said it was bizarre. Since then Pards has lost the plot, game over.

 

People saying he is not good enough is no problem. Calling a cockney this and that, calling him all the names under the sun etc (unless in jest) just makes the fans look like a bunch of bi polar loonies

 

I think it's understandable anger and in the main the insults are tongue-in-cheek.

If anyone on here met him in person one to one they wouldn't say these things to his face...

Not so much those on here, its the ones at the match I think are pricks. The same ones saying how well he was doing last year, are now spouting the typical "cockney" vitriol and it ain't tongue in cheek. They are just too thick to know better. Its embarrassing at times. I heard the ones turning on Sir Bob, the vicious ones with Allardyce, Dalglish, Gullit etc. Don't get me wrong there are managers who have been utter ****e for us but some just can't get their point across without bringing shame and the very same ones turn at the first sign of trouble. I think we have a fickle section. In fact I know we have some fickle fans, if you can turn on Sir Bob then there is no pleasing you!

I agree on here to a degree we are in a safe zone (there is a limit I know)
At a game is different I believe people are allowed to show their frustrations
But in the right channel.

There are often managerial merry-go-rounds. So maybe it will be:

Moyes. - Everton >> Man U

Pards. - NUFC. >> Everton

SAF - Man U >> NUFC

 

Absolutely every club has fickle fans, in fact most supporters are by default. Things are great when the team is winning and they call for everyone's head once the team starts losing.

The thing with that though that makes me laugh when the media slates fans as fickle, is isn't that the very best reason to judge a manager?

I think if people wanted the gaffer sacked by the colour of his match day tie I'd be more concerned...
