He was on 7 before this game.

Now the real question, who was the better January signing, Coutinho or Sturridge?

Now the real question, if Sturridge keeps this up where do we put Suarez when he comes back?

Wide right in place of Downing. Simple.

  10. He's missed more than eleven games. This was his third of the ten match ban and he missed nine games when he got the eight games suspension (can't recall why now) which is twelve games alone. When he first arrived, he didn't played straight away and he has had at least one game after collecting yellows cards too <ok>

Coady slotted in fine I think. Not that he was particularly troubled.

Hope we give Suso a game next week.

  13. Coutinho!

Wide right or behind Sturridge, drop Downing <ok>

painful to imagine what this team would have been like without Coutinho or Sturridge especially with Suarez out. Coutinho edges it as the better buy for me but its close.

Nice win. My leckey went off at 3, patchy 3G, very annoyed but love hearing we did good!

  18. That is a better question!

Sturridge and Suarez formed an instant partnership. Suarez and Coutinho were instantly on the same wavelength. Sturridge and Coutinho work well as a partnership too. Barcelona aren't a one man team but if one of their trio (Messi, Iniesta and/or Xavi) doesn't perform then they play poorly. Maybe Suarez, Coutinho and Sturridge are our trio? Not that I am saying we are the new Barcelona or that these players are at the same level!

Whats the point? Transfers are part of football and we've done well in buying them.

    Negative mate!
