    Anyone interested in this?

    Teams in contention:

    Leicester
    Watford
    Brighton
    Crystal Palace

    Game tonight:

    Leicester v Watford.

Personally hope Brighton come up, great new stadium, another South Eastern team, Gus Poyet and of course a nice brand of football.

used to be good but i fell out of love with this process.

I kind of also want this done after the prem season and fa cup.

the story of brighton and hove albion is one of a lot of pain for the fans so i guess i'd say they could do with a dream come true.

I've nothing par se against watford or palce or leicester but i just can't see any of these pulling off a swansea so i have no strong opinion so the games could be a big eye opener which is always good

Brighton really do play some lovely stuff, bossing this game so far. They'd be a welcomed addition to the EPL in all honesty.

This is something I have noticed, I tipped them to get into the PL when they were outside the play offs so no doubt they will fail. <doh>

Live in Brighton so would love them to go up. Stadium is great and been a few times so would be great to see them go up and watch a few Premiership games, especially when they play Liverpool.

Should have a good chance to make it to the final after a 0-0 draw away from home and Palace now missing Murray (ex Brighton forward) who was injured.

Also see Poyet's been linked with the Everton job, hope that's not true as he's done great things at Brighton (taken them from League 1 relegation zone to possible promotion to Premiership in 3 and a half years) and he'd get Everton playing some good football.

may i say the relegation zone has been littered with lovely footballing sides....

can brighton defending? are they organised, do they have a few brutes who can man up? Organisation is vital, then beleif and a goal scorer and the prem can be taken by storm.

There is a big reason why villa were in such trouble not organised, no belief, defensively weak.

Best defence in the Championship this season, and 2nd most clean sheets only behind winners Cardiff so yes they are very organised and can defend. Brighton have been talked about as a good footballing side but what Poyet has done first is made them hard to beat (along with Cardiff they have also lost the least amount of games this year). They've got Premiership players like Upson & Bridge who are both on loan and been very good, as well as Kusczak in goal so plenty of experience.

What a finish to Watford v Leicester.

Game poised at 2-2 on aggregate... Leicester player "wins" a penalty (looked very soft), keeper saved it, lands right in middle, guy had to then just tap in the rebound and put it right at the keeper.

15 seconds later, Watford go up the other end and score to surely win 3-2 and book a place in the final.

Shades of Brentford v Doncaster on the final day this season where one side missed a penalty to go up and other team went up other end to score and go up themselves!

Apparently it was the same ref as the Brentford Doncaster game as well!

    Watford.

So that's Palace nailed on to go up.

  18. I'd prefer Watford too TBH

If Palace go up, can anyone else see Zaha be left there on loan?

Id prefer watford, if they can keep the loan players they could be a quality side.

I'm biased of course - but Gianfranco, like Poyet believes in a great brand of football - we are now blessed with a team of great skill and goals
