Why close threads? The reason it's here is because the last one was closed! If nobody replies to it dies naturally without help from anyone.

 

Only because its going over old ground. We all know what Dai is like and I don't expect any change and eventually he'll get a permanent ban, just a shame that he can't see that the supermod will eventually run out of patience with him.

We know who banned him and we know why, the ball is firmly in Dai's court now

 

for the last time Jager, Dai was warned repeatedly for turning 90% of threads into a Liverpool/Brendan love thread where there was no need to even mention either or. he chose to ignore the warnings and kept on derailing posts. can a man post freely on here?, yes, without causing grief to other posters who like to keep on topic however Dai consistently derails threads to bring either Liverpool, laudrups sacking or Rodgers into the conversation which have nothing to do with the OT. Dai, would I call him a wum or a dickhead? we all have opinions regarding that question. I think he believes what he says which is sad, ok lets let him live in his own wee world, use the iggy button if required but if he starts again he is out imo

 

Or they can point the finger at me, as I too had brought up the issue of Dai a few weeks prior when it had kicked off on here. At the end of the day, he was warned by all 4 MODS to behave, he didn't so he was rightly banned. So lets drop this and move on. In future, maybe it will be better for a poster to PM a MOD or all four of us to ask why a poster has been banned etc as this is opening up old wounds

 

Wow I go to Benidorm for a week and only came home today and i find i have been banned well its the first i have heard of it.. Bloody hell i mentioned that i was going on a weeks break straight after the man city match and im surprised nobody picked up on that......Well never mind I back now so you wont get away with everything is Rosie in the swans camp without some facts and figures that we are just like every other club who have their debates you wish to ignore..........well i enjoyed my Ban even though i didn't know about it...

Yes dragon...we have the only mods that ban you for a week when you go on holiday.. Now thats the way to do it...I hope it catches on..

Jager, with all due respect, I think your being a little disrespectful to us mods, who give up our time to moderate a board to ensure it remains civil and pleasant to visit. When a poster is banned, why start numerous threads about said posters. It simply isn't going to help matters.

I hasten to add, I have no problem with Dai. I like a lot of his posts, I also hate a lot of his posts. He has opinions which is fine, but when they constantly derail good threads, and he ignores warnings, something has to/had to be done. The board has been a pleasure to view this week, and all the threads remained on topic. Old users are also returning.

So, if you or ANYBODY else has an issue with me, or the other mods, start a thread to get us booted out. Simple really.

Don't believe a word of it actually, I wonder how many decent people will stop posting again until the next ban ?

 

Ash with respects, if the original thread hadn't been closed I wouldn't have made another one. If someone had actually answered the question instead of closing it that would have been it!

I'm sorry if you think moderators are above being asked a simple question. And if I think something is childish I will say so Ash, I never beat about the bush I say what is on my mind, I certainly have not disrespected anyone I just spoke my mind.

I'm also not here to read every bloody comment on the forum, I leave that to you and the other moderators, if you want to censor people you carry on with it, but I will not be cowed and probably the next person banned for speaking my mind.

Well may I suggest that next time you complain that a member is banned, take the time to read threads as you might then have an understanding of the reasons why said member would be banned. If you do not like the way the Dai situation has been handled, then please feel free to take my place as a MOD

 

We are not above being asked a question, but there is a Private Message function. Rather than bring up a matter that had been dealt with, you could have simply PM'd me or the others and asked.

There is no censorship, so I don't know where you got that idea? WUM's posts are deleted yes, but that is in the house rules. Myself, nor the other mods have ever censored one of our own - To my knowledge.
