I agree, but I guess we will see. I would have said Fergie would have worked his magic and maybe crafted a good player, but that won't happen now!
Nobody knows, although the reported amount is closer to 1m. I suppose it's similar to The Prozmeister in terms of a certain fee that will rise to a higher one with things like appearances and promotion.
I'm sure on Football Manager, which isn't nromally too far off, as quite a bit. I thought he was your best player at the KC, but he wanted to shoot from everywhere?!
The only good thing about Zaha is he's gonna make Man Utd look like twats. Every time I've watched Palarse play Bolasie has looked the better of the two.
the only good thing about zaha is..... i will come back to you when i see it!!! no really tho i can see what the big clubs saw in him. hes got pace, a trick or two, the ability to beat a man, the ability to make defenders look like mugs.... and then comes the end product which is just awful. however all of that said hes a young kids so i can see understand how saf had seen potential in him, but 17million worth? its a huge risk i would of rated him 5-10mill tops. now saf has buggered off i dont see him filling his potential there.
Against Peterborough last weekend they managed to appeal for 3 penalties in about 5 seconds. The 3rd one was given of course!
It's clear that zaha is gifted, he sees things, he's got a bit of ability, good close ball control but not the best at hitting it, the main thing is he's not scared and will try and keep trying despite getting lumps kicked out of him all game long by some of the incompetent **** defenders in this league. I think it's crazy a transfer fee can be valued at how good he might be in the future, he may well make a £15m player in a few years when he peaks, but at the moment his ability is around £2/3 million. United have paid the maximum value he might reach in his career, he'll never be a Beckham or a Rooney. Of his generation of players, oxlade chamberlain is far far far better.
To me he falls into the same category as Wright Phillips, Walcott, Craig Fagan etc. Very quick and very skilfull, But little in the way of an end product. If he could cross then he'd be worth every penny of £17million, I don't rate him personally.
I wonder if Moyes rates him? If he doesnt then it's a lot to spend on a player who might never even set foot on the pitch for them.
Walcott doesn't belong in that category. In the last couple of years his crossing has been really good and he's been lethal in front of goal this season.
if we're going to play 4-5-1 in the pl i don't want us to go up. 4-5-1 is what the italians played in ww2. abject surrender, pointless football, might as well stay at home and send the points gift-wrapped. 4-5-1 is for complete losers, tossers, and people who hate football. and don't anyone give me all that wrong crap about 4-5-1 being 4-3-3 in disguise.
