http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_Murambadoro Prem found this on the transfer market, I looked it up on Wiki and it says HE SAID he would sign for us. Very odd, Any truth in this?
Wow, 16 guests viewing as I type - good evening agents... I just spotted it when I posted Shiny, will do some investigation as well but I somehow doubt he would be signing for anyone if he was banned for 10 years as those aren't usually nation specific...
Its been posted on twitter. We usually get this amount of guests when I first post it on there Like prem ill do a bit more digging
Couldn't find anything really. Don't know where this has come from. Ive messaged Adam baker. Don't know if he will reply but we should get a yes or no hopefully
Right, typical Wikipedia - he was NOT banned at all, he was exhonerated, here is the article http://www.thezimbabwean.co.uk/sport/football/61650/sunday-chidzambwa-rushwaya-get-life.html None of us know anything about the bloke other than he was the national keeper 27 times so, no thank you what Mike...? p.s. just done my first ever Wiki edit...
And he cried when asked to throw games http://bulawayo24.com/index-id-sports-sc-soccer-byo-8242.html But also found this not banning them http://www.sundaymail.co.zw.geo.web...eve-&format=pdf&option=com_content&Itemid=142
You would have thought that Tom Heaton would have crying permanently the number of goals we let in last year... Nothing on this other top site yet... http://us.soccerway.com/players/energy-murambadoro/94833/
Zimbabwe is right next to Botswana, where SL has been visiting regularly. Maybe he had a word in this guys ear when he was last over there? Can't say that his credentials are impressive. With so many European clubs scouting in Africa, you'd have thought he'd have already gone somewhere before now if he was any good. And yes, the Africa Cup of Nations should be considered for any African player. You can't sign them and then complain when they have to disappear for 6 weeks during the season.
What worries me about this story is where is the connection to Bristol City? Like who spotted him? who scouted him? He is not currently in the national team so Albert is unlikely to have come across him on African cup duties so how come Bristol City?
If SL is going behind the managers back, like he supposedly did with Coppell when he approached and then signed David James, then he hasn't learned his lesson, and I can't see SOD taking it lying down either. I wouldn't.
