Morning Al, my daughter who lives on the outskirts of Gloucester found that some idiots had been down her allotment overnight and smashed every pane of glass in her greenhouse.

Very dodgy folks down there. :(

Thanks AK - 606 is still open, although The Nest looks like it a war zone. I need 2 coffee's after last night...

Talking of war zones - I see that Serbia has finally "found" mad Mladic and arrested him. I wonder if it is the desire of Serbia to jump on the EU gravy train that focussed them on "tracking" him down? Surely not! <grr> So in 5 years time Serbia will be accepted into the EU receiving billions of €'s in grants and subsidies in the process and then 2 years later getting billions more in bailouts from the IMF - meanwhile their war criminals will have moved to the UK and will be found working in a care home or hospital near you! <grr> yesterdays war criminals are tomorrows hospital porters..<grr>
    Cynic me?

On the subject of criminals - I see 'ethics proceedings' have been opened by FIFA against Sepp Blatter. Wonder what that actually means - a bit of wrist slapping?

Sepp Blatter will pay the investigators off, and they will exonerate him of any wrong doing whatsoever. You scratch my back and TEAR YOUR SPINE OUT

OFH, that is not good, there is a well known family (the Johnsons) in the Gloucester area who have such a bad name and are responsible for a multitude of crimes. The reign their area with fear and violence even police are wary!

Hmmmmmm! Not so sure Zen , I`m hoping that any proven charges may have legal implications ,in which case it could get very messy! and very interesting.
I think fifa should cancel next weeks election until this matter is resolved! If Bribes have been taken then maybe the FA can sue Fifa for a lost world cup finals!

Switzerland is hardly renown for its robust anti-corruption legislation.

Some people might speculate whether there is a correlation between that, and the location of a large number of major international bodies. I couldn't possibly comment.

I doubt they will switch world cup hosts, then they would be sued by the nations that "won" the contest!
Bad situation looming for fifa sued if you do and sued if you dont!

We would have grounds to go after individuals (one look at the voting patterns over the first two rounds is all the proof you need). But in fairness it's not the Russia decision which was particularly questionable, but the Qatar one.

Even if the smoke is followed by fire, and I sincerely hope it is, there's no chance whatsoever of us hosting one of the next three world cups.

The biggest losers in this debacle really was the Aussies, they would have staged a brilliant world cup! Would have given football a real shot in the arm in australasia!

I didn't think there was much of an appetite for football in the land of the crim Norway. I thought they liked watching blokes with mullets in cap sleaved shirts and tight shorts play with odd shaped balls?
