This was an interesting development to wake up to this morning. Not sure what to make of it, especially with two other backroom staff going on the same day (and regardless of the fact that we effectively have no keepers at the moment, we WILL have keepers for next season so we'll still need a g/k coach). Surprised that RoK has quit so soon, though there's no doubt that daily commute must be a pain. Who knows what is going on inside the club though - its obvious the club will always put a "positive" spin on anyone leaving, and the BBC just copies what the club said. Despite how close SOD and ROK have been in the past, maybe there are still some club mgmt issues - interference from the board or whatever? Shame ROK didn't stick it out if that's the case, as you sense SOD is continuing to try to change the club culture.

As for the rumour about Tinman - I liked him as a player, and there's no doubt he was appointed manager way too early in his coaching career. But he's been mostly doing youth coaching since ending his playing career, hardly gaining more coaching experience in any league. Hmmm, much as the fans loved him as a player, not sure about him coming back as #2

Whilst this is a disruption we don't need, I guess its better we lose ROK now, and SOD has plenty of time to get in a new assistant well before pre-season. There's enough disruption going on with adjusting to relegation and players leaving that getting in a new #2 isn't going to make things much worse right now.

I always thought Tinion would have made a good director of football as he was one of our worse managers but he did bring in players that at the time was very good players like Marcus Stewart and Michael Bridges so if you could combine his buying ability with someone who could coach it would work well.

Honesty and integrity should be the buzzword at BCFC but yet I still see totally mixed messages coming from the offices. Something is going on that concerns me about the way our club is run and nobody has yet fingered the problem satisfactorily.

The comings and going both on the player and staff fronts concerns me about where we go from here and leaves me to believe that there are still serious issues to be addressed within the clubs hierarchy.

Don't think we have heard the last of the problems that relegation was supposed to solve. Stay tuned.
