i cant think of anything worse. you guys used to be funny, what happened, this is such ****e. one of the worst threads on the whole of the internet (no blame to you venom)
I quite like the Royal family and the Irish are good for a laugh, also it's good to have somewhere nearby that makes Scotland seem OK by comparison...
but it was always my job to hijack threads and this was a serious thread just look at the title I have been away too long.
There are genuinely some pretty intelligent people of here with some quick one liners and good banter. these people are really hard to find under the rest of the tedious dumb ****s who use this place as some sort of discount therapy. mongs
Reasons to keep the union (for what it's worth) (not that I'm bovvered): 1. We are all largely descended from the same ancient people (60-80% across all of Britain) 2. We speak the same language 3. We are culturally almost the same 4. Britain is a small island 5. United we have a bigger presence internationally 6. Carving up national institutions will mean massive job losses in some areas e.g. National Savings & Investments head office is in Glasgow 7. Prime Minister Salmond 8. ummm?
1. So ****? Are you supporting Austria being re-annexed to Germany again, then? 2. Even sillier reason - doesn't even bear answering. 3. 26% vote for UKIP in English local elections, different law system and Question Time being about immigration EVERY ****ING WEEK it's in England say otherwise 4. So are New Guinea and Timor 5. Excellent, that means we can get involved in more stupid wars and have more of our citizens/subjects killed. 6. Easily offset with the extra trappings of internal government alone - think of all the Embassies we'll need to set up and staff 7. Prime Minister Boris Johnson 8. Probably the most convincing argument of the lot, actually. My case for independence is lengthy as **** and I think I've already done it on here. There's no ****ing question which way I'm voting - the arguments against started as spasmodic (ooooh, my grandchildren will be foreigners, there'll be armed guards at the border etc) to the outright ignorant recently (ignoring Isle of Man's status outside the UK whilst using the pound for example). England of now has moved colossally to the right in the last ten years. I'd rather leave yeez all to it, frankly.
