    Taken from Bruce's comments in the mail this morning regarding SAF;

"I wanted to pick his brains about it and he said it was not a problem for Robbie, he can shoot with both feet.
"In his opinion that's where he plays best. 'Just give him a free run,' he said to me. I wish I'd spoken to him earlier!"

Will we see Brady used in a more forward role next season?

    GK
    RB Chester Hobbs Dudge
    Meyler DM
    RW Aluko Brady
    ST

Clearly Elmo, Rosie, Evans could all have a role to play in that formation, however I think RB, DM, RW and ST are all positions we should strengthen this silly season.

He certainly showed the rest of the strikers how to run the channels on Sat. A fully fit squad for next season will mean SB can play him anywhere from fullback, winger or striker!

    Batty boy!

I don't think Brady will ever realistically have been thought of as a left back, he's a winger by nature and that's where he'll play unless forced back through others getting injured or suspended.

Its an option when the need is there. Thankfully we shall have proper strikers for the PL season.

Leave Brady and Elmo where they are and where they do there best work. imo.

I'm gonna get shot down in flames here but why didn't SB fathom this out for himself ?

He's seen Brady in training for the last 6 months or so - surely they must try different players in different positions to assess
their strengths/weaknesses if changes need to be made during a game.

That is one of bruces biggest weaknesses, he doesn't like to change things, which is why i was shocked at cardiff line up and which is why fergie is probably the greatest manager eer, his squad rotation and changing is simply superb..

It does seem a bit strange that he needed another manager to tell him this - especially one who never played Brady at this level.

I definitely think Brady will be very important for us going forward next season and would love to see this formation in the style of Chelsea with Mata-Oscar-Hazard and Torres in front

I love that someone has asked if Brady has found a new position, then posted a team with him playing in the exact same position in the exact same formation he was playing for us last season, and nobody picks up on it not being a new position for him.

We haven't really needed to this season. We've generally had enough players to fill the positions needed and have cover. I know we've had games with Koren and Boyd up top, but that's generally been a tactical selection with 2 strikers on the bench so it's not been forced. Plus we've only had 2 wing backs and Rosenior available, so trying a wing back up front has meant either severely weakening our ability to get it forward or changing system. Whilst the system was working there was no point trying it.

Willson, I agree completely about the Chelsea model being a good one to work to.

    Boyd/Elmo - Aluko - Brady
    New Striker

it'd be fluid, mobile, creative, quick and full of tricks.

Same position, same formation, same person but different style, different team, different player
