So he whines when he the star player because he wants the club to sign world class players. Then he whines when we sign world class players because he can't get in the team anymore. He needs to realise he's not as good as he thinks he is or as good as everyone expects him to be. If he spent less time whining and more time working on achieving his potential, he could become the undropable player he thinks he is.
Part of me thinks get shot of him.. Its just weird as he has been our talisman for some time now.. I think if its true and he wants to go then get rid.
If we were going to get Ronaldo back then I'd agree but I can't see Ronaldo coming so I think we should keep hold of Rooney.
If you get 40 for him would be a miracle. But with PSG about it's possible..spen it straight on Bale.
shame on him .. he did it again !! jesus ..i still never forgiven him 100% of what he did in that past we pay him big wages, he worth alot if we sell him now despite me criticizing his form since months .. but i never wanted him to leave bcz he is still a game changer .. but now after the way he is handling his demands childishly again ... time for him to leave .. we don't want people like him in the team
We don't know why he's done it though. If he's doing it because he's spat the dummy out then **** him. However, it might just be getting more sponsorship income from it, afater all the picture is still of him in a United kit ? I'd like him to stay but I'm it's already getting boring now.
well I can have only 2 options : 1- he really want to leave 2- newspapers said before he wanted a new contract in last months .. and giving how he dealt with it in the past , I will not be surprised it is another stupid tactical moves by Mr genius ..
Piss the fans off once then in time you would be forgiven, piss them off twice you can **** off, £200,000+ a week, he wanted to leave because wasn't sure of the direction the club was going, Gets a bumper deal, and we sign the league's top striker. Now he isn't the focus he wants a new challenge, well I say sell him and use the cash and wages to go buy some fresh new talent that has passion and commitment to fight. I work bloody hard to fund my UNITED habit, and all I want is the plays to show 100% commitment on the pitch, you ha acres bad games I can deal with that no problem, Van Persie went I think nearly 12 games without scoring this season, but his head never went down, he played, ran, tackled, jumped and assisted the team, im sick and tired of players not just Rooney ****ing the fans over, whoever wants him can have him!
Ah well, lose our manager and potentially lose one of if not our most important player all in the same time frame. Who do you replace Rooney with? How much of an incentive will working under David Moyes be for any potential player considering the changes at United this summer. I would prefer Rooney stayed, RvP isnt anywhere near as good when Rooney doesnt play for one thing and regardless of how he appears to feel hes still made a difference to us this season and bagged a decent amount of contributions. Hernandez and Welbeck are not Rooney, they dont offer anywhere near what he does and considering RvP came here in part to play along side Rooney I am slightly worried. Ronaldo wouldnt replace Rooney either.
Pretty sure you can choose not to work for someone you dont like. I mean you might be out of a job ( in Rooneys case he would walk into the next one ) but nobody has to work for someone..... do they?
If he wants to stay he works for who he's told or he ****s off. Quite straightforward really. And here was me thinking the incentive was to play for Manchester United. Not whichever bloke is in charge. How daft of me.
Of course it is but you would be silly to think SAF played a huge part in mangy of the players wanting to play for United. To this day he is spoken of by many former and current players as the major reason they came to United. Not the only one but I mean would thy of come is Kenny Dalgleish or some other no mark was in charge? We will never know.
If he did change his twitter profile because he wants out, we should sign Ronaldo, Lewandowski, and Fellaini before we sell him. Just to prove a point that he's replaceable, and the club intend to remain the dominant in England and push for European glory. Then sell him to a club in the MLS. Wink wink hint hint.
Fergie will still be there though. You seem to be ignoring that. Before Fergie any foreigner used to say the words 'Bobby Charlton' when United were mentioned. And there he was, still a face at the club, still about. This will apply to Ferguson. Players will know this, know Giggs is still there, know the club is pretty much the same except with a new manager because, well because people age and can't go on forever. Those that don't see that are more than welcome to not bother joining the club.
If Fergie wasn't leaving, I'd be happy for him to do one. But I worry that it might be too much change, too quickly. I suppose it all depends on who replaces him.
