Hoppers. The difference was that the Wigan defenders were generally in the right place but played dangerous balls or failed to clear. Six months ago our defenders were nowhere near the right place to even try to clear the ball!

If Chelsea beat Villa on Sunday and we beat WBA we are mathematically safe. On the other hand, Wigan MUST win one of their two remaining fixtures against Arsehole or Villa and I can't see them winning either. Therefore we may not need another point ! We will be supporting Spudz tonight so Chelski have that must win game against Villa, also that would mean Arsehole will need to beat Wigan to secure CL spot.

Oh, and Warky, the balance of power is not swinging back pal. WHEN we secure our PL status we have an £8.5M Dutch international striker coming in next year and probably a few more top players too, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it. Putting it in perspective, just ONE televised Sky home game next season would guarantee a £6.5M payment and that alone would virtually pay for RVW ! LOADSA MONEY

Just because you paid 8.5m for a striker does not mean he will be a great striker.............

KIO. You'll look like a bloody plank if this still all goes south and you fall through the trap door now <ok>

Also there have been some dreadful strikers signed for big money in premier league history... until he's kicked a ball in anger it would be daft to put him up on that pedestal

    Evening chaps,

I'm not sure why you think we need to win on Sunday. Wigan will have played two more games than arsenal, since arsenal's last game, when they play each other next Tuesday. Included in that will be an FA cup final on one of the biggest pitches in the country against a team that will make them run and run. Arsenal will murder Wigan next Tuesday at the emirates. If they do that, we only need point on Sunday to be safe.

Nice to see some of your fans are buying tickets in the WBA for Sundays game. Hopefully we will hear another rendition of "we're ****ing loaded nah, nah......."

Apparently your boys are treating it as a relegation party. Hahahahah, how sad.

Unfortunately it looks like the budgies are going to go 21 games with only 2 wins and survive.......still it should stand them in good stead going into next season with that sort of form. <ok>

If you don't win on Sunday, your destiny will all be in the hands of someone that was taking you to a tribunal not so long ago? oh the irony!
