SPURS TEAM NEWS FOR CHELSEA AWAY...

Mousa Dembele and Aaron Lennon are in the squad for the huge clash at Chelsea on Wednesday night.

Mousa departed early from Saturday's 1-0 win against Southampton while Aaron was substituted on the hour mark.

Andre explained both players had 'discomfort and tightness' against the Saints.

"Mousa and Aaron will be selected, whether or not they will be available is something we prefer to hold onto and let people know when we get there," said Andre.

"They had discomfort and tightness against Southampton and we decided not to risk them.

"As we took that decision, it means they are still in the frame for making this game.

"We have one player recovered, Jake Livermore, and three players out - Sandro, Gallas and Kaboul."

If we play anything close to how we played at WHL they won't have a prayer. We need use our experience and play well. All over the pitch we have players with big game experience whereas Spurs don't. We always knew AVB was talking out his arse re: team selection, you only have to look at what he said last time. Wouldn't be surprised if neither Lennon or Dembele were on the bench or not even in the squad but even if they are we enough quality to overcome them and they won't be fully fit.

Why would you want a draw? 3rd is not in your hands. If Spurs draw there is every chance they could still make 4th, especially now Sunderland are all but safe with a draw at home to Southampton or better. Stoke and Sunderland will probably be 6 points for Spurs now they've nothing to play for.

    " hopefully a draw ? " <doh>

you need to up your medication , why the **** do you want a draw , ?

We need Chelsea to destroy and humiliate them .

I would rather have a solid chance of 4th than a cat in hells chance of 3rd , thanks.

Surely a draw is a good result for Arsenal?

Means they 'only' have to win their remaining 2 (very winable) games to be assured of C.L and if we drop anymore points (in 2 potentially tricky fixtures) they could get 3rd too. A win for us tonight makes 3rd very unlikely.

I'm sure they'd prefer us to win to give them the best chance of top 4 but I think most Arsenal fans would take a draw now if offered.

A draw means no margin for error for Arsenal, which is possible given their last 2 games are against sides that will be going all out to beat them.

A loss (given the psychological affect it would also have) makes it highly unlikely Spurs could go on to claim a CL Spot.

To be honest, Wigan look shot now and I think Arsenal will beat them confotably leaving Newcastle safe come final day. I'd be suprised if Arsenal didn't get 6 points but we'll soon see!!

If Arsenal beat Wigan, they will effectively guarantee survival for Newcastle and probably steamroller them, Wigan have character, it's boom or bust for them against Arsenal and they'll give it everything. Arsenal are better against passive teams that don't press or play with much energy (as their 2 home wins out 8 against the top 9 proves).

Wigan would be top half if they could defend.

We look brilliant! Spurs been very poor apart from that goal, which Cahill should've done better for but he's been great that aside. Can't fault one of our boys tonight!

Great game so far and all three goals have been top notch. We look really up for it tonight; let's keep it going in the second half.

point not the end of the world. With our goal difference, we only need 1 win from our last two games to grab 4th spot, so CL football is more or less agiven.
