Can a guy who wins the golden boot at the club really be a flop? He was pretty poor in his first season granted, but after that he was a very good player for us. Played a big part in our 10-11 title. Never really understood why he fell out of favour, he was still scoring goals towards the end. Not the best signing ever given his price tag, but a world away from Fernando.
Berbatov is not a flop tho dude, he scored some vital goals in the 2008-2009 season, his debut season as we won the league, scored some important goals in the 2010-2011 season as we won our 19th title, will still be remembered here for that hat trick against Liverpool. 56 goals in 4 seasons is not bad and last season even though he hardly played, he still managed to score 10 goals for us.
Whatever anyone thinks, he's won 38 trophies in 26 years. Amazing record up there with the greatest managers of all time. Next season I expect a battle between us and City for the title while United are 3rd and 4th is battled between our Spurs and Arsenal.
Ffs District do you ever show some respect instead of being a wumming prick 24/7. Sorry United fans, Fergie one of the best and will be weird and pretty sad to not have him in the premier league anymore, enjoy retirement old boy
It will be UTD battleing it out with ££££, with Bale FC and French Arse fighting the 3rd/4th spot
Glad I'm not the only one to notice. Together with his ability to pick the winning team AFTER every result.
Just a shame he never tried to be a good manager abroad like Mourinho & Pep etc. Always be remembered as the manager of a big fish in a small pond.
You'd think the guy had died. It's a 71 year old retiring FFS. No need to be so precious or start abusing people? I respect what Fergie has achieved as a manager, but am I glad he's leaving? Yes, like most football fans I'd imagine. Just because I refuse to join the sensationalist sycophancy it doesn't mean I'm a "Wumming Prick". When Fergie passes, I will rightfully pay my respects, but I'm not going to get honky dory over a 71 year old multi-millionaire retiring. Bigger things going on in the world. If our PM spent as much time fixing the economy as he did talking about Fergie we might not be in a double-dip recession.
