Well it proves the lie that 'only a few people' on this forum call it that. I can give you as many examples as you like.

    Wrong. Official US TV listings:

    http://msn.foxsports.com/foxsoccer/tvschedule

See the bit at the top that says "Premier League"? The one without the English?

Or take a look at the listings that state it's the Barclay's Premier League. Then give yourself some <applause>

    Yes they do:

    http://www.sportspromedia.com/news/premier_league_rights_sold_in_russia/

The only ones that call it the English Premier League are the same ****wads who refer to it as the Spanish La Liga, the German Bundesliga and the Italian Serie A. Usually cos they are miles away from Europe.

    See what I mean?

What it proves is that American and Australian television incorrectly call it the EPL.

Actually the American TV stations get it completely right. It's only half arsed hick websites like "EPLtalk" that get it wrong.

You can forgive the Australians cos the daft convicts have no idea what's going on around this end of the world. As proven by their need to call them the Spanish La Liga and the German Bundesliga.

Moyes is a decent manager, but is it physically possible to get excited at the prospect of him joining us? About as uninspiring a choice as we could get.

I never said he was bad, it's not like we're hiring Rafa. He's just uninspiring. I had to try and think of something better than "meh" to say about the prospect.

Moyes had been my ideal choice for about 3 years.

No candidate is a guarantee of success, but in term of having the right credentials for continuing the ethos and approach of Ferguson/United, in the long term - Moyes is the best candidate.

I hope the presence of Fergie on the Board ensures that Moyes is given time to settle, learn and grow.

    Onwards and upwards.....

I don't find it uninspiring at all.

Moyes is going to be so eager to prove himself at this level. Last season, He brought Everton back for pre-season early to avoid a bad start to season. On the opening day- they beat us 1-0. Imagine the commitment he will bring to United for the get-go.

It's taken him years to improve Everton and shape them into a solid team that play good football. But he has done it and always moved towards developing a team that can play attractive football, not just be hard to beat like Stoke or Bolton. At United, the team is ready. He has tops quality players and a large squad ready to go. They will all be eager to show the new boss what they can do. Reputations are set back to zero.

He even has a size able transfer fund to bring in any players he feels we need, although perhaps Ferguson and Gill have already identified and sounded out a few players already.

It could be like getting a younger model of Fergie, set for a decade or more of success.

Some people point to a lack of European experience as a stick to beat Moyes. Let's be honest, Fergie has got as much experience as anyone in Europe and it still didn't stop him from being complacent with team selection that saw us finish bottom of the qualifying group last season.

    I for one, can't wait.

And you would enjoy the whole team hoofing it up the pitch to Fellaini? Everton's style is pretty dross. They are a direct, strong and physical team, like Stoke but with better players..

Utter ****e that, as anyone who's watched us regularly for the last 3 years will attest. You're just showing your bitter ignorance posting ****e like that.

Some of our football has been sublime this season.
