What's all the concern about only 10/15k turning up? FFS only 17k have been turning up for games this season. I couldn't give a **** about the other 500k hull residents who are only semi interested in the club we follow. We'll be there, hope all the season ticket holders can get there , similarly the regulars who pay as you go. All the moaning ****s can **** themselves. We (well 17k) are premier league, we are premier league..lol
As I said, I'll be there, probably with about 7000 others, like I was against Rotherham, Orient, Barnsley, Norwhich etc this season, and the likes of Rotherham and Torquay since 1998, aged 5.
I'm sorry to say that I will not be in attendance as I dont fancy a drive. But my seat can be used by some plastics like the ****ers in the HDM who were interviewed in the pub........Oh its so ****ing great now I can go to the KC and watch some really great teams play!!!!........I'm so happy...I might be able to visit some really great stadiums like Old ****ing Trafford....or even Oh My God.....The Emirates....I would have loved to have been there today but I really wanted to get rat arsed with my Dad.......Yer I've been a fan all of my life in fact since I was born.....I watched every game last time Hull Fc were in the Premiership....That was before Brighthouse took my laptop back...You know if they throw a party I'll be there as long as its free mind as I wouldnt want to give the Allams any of my money...I mean theyve got so much. Sorry if any of this applies to our new readership........No on second thoughts **** OFF YOU PLASTIC GLORY HUNTING ****S.....ah thats better
Check the bitterness dude, check it. Hopefully us being in the premiership can get them jobs over time, and maybe, with disposable incomes they might be of some us to society..... .....Maybe. Regardless. If you're the same "James Lodge" hating meff on the HDM boards 5 years back, you weren't exactly a regular for a while when we were **** now were you?
No mate, but there again I have never said I was, just for the record I took an active part in sport until I was 50 and when you are involved every week end in either umpiring, managing or coaching in sport, watching others play is put to one side. I bought my first season ticket after deciding that I wanted to watch from the same seat every match instead of a fresh one. If you remember me from the HDM board you may recall that even though I was ****ing bankrupt, unemployed and in the throws of a nervious breakdown I still managed to get to the home games. Im not bitter towards the fans who cannot afford to attend, what I am bitter about is those who ONLY want to watch other teams play or go to other grounds. As for my hating James Lodge, again it was never hate. The character "James Lodge" was an invention, not a real person. The real name behind the character was Martin Barras, a person who had motives other than supporting football gossip for posting. His membership of organisations promoting under age sex was one of the reasons for my dislike of him. Barras was a control freak, who had numerous online accounts on sites ranging from bondage and domination, through to dating. He posted that he was muslim and catholic, depending on which site he was on. I am confident that if he posted in the same manner on here he would be banned. I was frustrated that the HDM could not control him. He changed his IP address numerious times and posted under loads of different names. The bloke was a menace to society and I was determined to prevent him grooming on the site. I stopped posting on the HDM simply because the format changed and I did not like the way it was structured. I do have plenty of disposable income now, having lost everything in 2009, I slashed my outgoings, living on £74.00 a week helps do that. Since September 2009 I have built 3 businesses and have a new venture starting as soon as planning is granted. I have studied and passed City and Guilds exams and am about to start a diploma course. In 2009/10 my gross income was £7500. Supporting Hull City has never been an issue with me, getting to matches has. So dont think that for one minute I look down on anyone who cannot afford to go to matches. My post is all about those who support success and hide behind a City shirt just to watch other teams. ****.
I enjoy the mass gathering and seeing the bus turn up at Queen Vicky square, it's a shame that they couldn't put their diffferences aside for this as for me we already had a celebration at the KC.
The good thing about the KC party is that you can park your car easy and get a ticket and go in regardless of anything. Simples. A civic gathering like last time would be a nightmare for many fans. Well done Allams on the KC party tonight.
plastic fan hating is just soooooooooooo boring . is there an actual cut off date when we can all publicly declare bing a so called genuine supporter ?
It's the age old thing about wanting to feel superior to other people, I've supported us for 30 years but if somebody became a Tigers fan yesterday thats fine by me as that makes them another one of us. Nothing worse than cliques and exclusive members clubs.
same i couldnt give a flying toss , i think its just weird to almost wish for crowds of , 3,200 because thats probably what we averaged in the late 90s any more is clearly glory hunting
The pair of you miss the point. New fans are fine by me, I have never and will never slate honest fans. Those glory fans who are supporting City this week when next it could be Leeds or ManU , are the ones who I ranted against. If you think that it isn't an issue that's fine. But the club acknowledges that it is a problem otherwise why bother with offering any loyalty schemes? Read other threads and it is apparent that it bothers others.
But these people must number in their single figures , i dont know anyone who will change allegiance like this ,i accept there are fans who follow city in a fairly part time kind of way and will rush to buy Prem tickets , but i still suspect they are City fans all the same . So what would you describe the 14,000 city fans at the KC this year that never went in the dark days ??
Look if you can't be bothered to read what I posted what's the point. If you think that there are only a few glory fans out there, great. Your right, I'm wrong. Odd though how many others think the same, there's even posts on other threads with the same opinion. So what it's boring isn't it.
Well i know plenty who couldn't get a ticket but as long as you could park your car that's alright It's just a pity Allam couldn't have been the bigger man forget the council fued for sake of the fans and have a celebration that all could get to. He's still a top chairman and glad we've got him just disappointed with this decision and made worse by such short notice
