What happened after that short period? Yes we went in to the following season having spent nearly 100m to finish......8th

Calling people muppets for supporting their manager is pathetic mate - it wasn't the fans who got rid of Kenny, it was the owners and himself.

simple stuff really - just have another window like January: buy the few people we need who can make immediate impacts into the problem areas, buy them at a good price, and make sure they're' young enough to be on the upside of their career.

I think a good quality centre back, defensive midfielder (cover/competition for Lucas) and a right sided winger/forward are the main priorities. I'd have to agree with Carra in saying that the foundations are in place. Our squad is bursting with youthful potential and players who should be hitting their prime very soon (Lucas, Suarez, Enrique).

With a season under his belt to properly assess the deficiencies in our squad I have faith that Brendan will sign the right players. I wouldn't be totally opposed to Ashley Williams providing he costs under £10 million. He's a good centre back and he's experienced. Could be a good stop-gap while Kelly and Wisdom get up to speed with playing centrally.
