hi mate, i wouldn't class a mocking reply as a bite, had i been countering his points (was there even one actually?) or arguing with him then perhaps.

if i created a thread titled "dev had aids" and you simply replied with a "no i don't" or perhaps just ridiculed me, i wouldn't class that as a bite, however if your reply was ranty with a lot of swearing and such then i'd say you've bitten to my wind up.
