    Took my mum to the opera last year and saw madame Butterfly - thought it was really good actually but it's not the sort of thing you want to do every week.

    I can just about stomach a musical film if it's just the odd song here and there. Like in Mary Poppins for example. But I started watching Sweeney Todd recently (the Jonny Depp one) and virtually every word of the script was in song <grr>

    Had to turn it off after 20 minutes. Apparently Les Miserables is the same <doh>
