The jungle drums i've been hearing lately prove to be correct then. http://www.millwallfc.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-kj-809975.aspx
Not surprised. Has been under huge stress and must have thought it was becoming a thankless task. Has looked ill for half the season. Very sorry to see him go. Now time to move forward.
i am not surprised .he had gone stale shocking loan deals wrong tactics players playing in wrong positions .a great manager for us but not sorry he has gone ..we need at least 6 new players and knew that jb was not going to invest .if he does not another sorry struggle again next season.they are my thoughts
i am not surprised .he had gone stale shocking loan deals wrong tactics players playing in wrong positions .a great manager for us but not sorry he has gone You fickle fcukers, it was only a few weeks ago you were praising poor Kenny to the highest orders...... tut tut tut
Thought this article was going to be a windup So much for him saying he would stay even if we got relegated. At least he hasn't left it until a week before the season starts.
He did a great job for nearly 6 years with little resources, but this season we lacked any attacking ideas and had the season been a couple of more weeks we would had dropped to league 1. Don't know whats happened behind the scenes but had money been made available around christmas time and we had kept hold of Wood we could had easily achieved 69 points and a place in the play-offs. Good luck Kenny it has been a pleasure
Nothings changed Shiny, he still is the best manager in the league with what he had available to him. He has taken us as far as he can, a change of scenery will be good for him and us(i hope).
Loved the bloke but we seriously need change hope we get someone with some thrust, blood, and guts, to kick this sorry bunch into shape SOMEONE WITH SOME BOTTLE
A dignified and measured exit - all you would expect from KJ. Hope he does well and that you get the manager you want.
Agree - He was a fantastic manager, thoroughly decent guy and did so well for your club I am sorry to learn of this. When you think your club were languishing in League 1 and he got you promoted in some style. The fact your best striker, Morison, was sold didn't help. Good luck with the new manager.
Have to agree with you Ringo, best manager in the league. Also a man of some quality, he has resigned with the best interests of the club at heart, giving the directors plenty of time to select a manager, who according to JB will have an increased budget for next season. We will miss you Kenny, best of luck in the future
That's a bit of a bugga for you...... isn't it? No not really if we are to move forward think dearest Ken was losing the plot to be honest Think both he and us needed a change....
