Just read an interesting stat. We've won 38% of games that Vaughan has played (8/21) and only 7% without him which is only once. Why hasn't he started more often? He'd start in place of Larsson with N'dayie against Southampton for me.

Vaughan should have been playing last night instead of Larsson. He is our only central midfielder who is capable of getting the ball down, moving, looking for a pass and spreading play.

Even to say this after the fact (hindsight and all that), but:

Larsson should have played, but on the right with AJ on the left wing. Colback at RB with N'daiye, Vaughan and Gardner in the middle.

Mcclean hasnt had a good season on the left wing, but he should never be allowed on the right wing ever again. it was appalling to watch. Hope it is a case of second season syndrome, and I had high hopes for him last season.
