That ****ing song at the celebration was cringe-worthy

I believe the same amount of clubs that have had it for the last 50 years.

It's club anthem. I was quite happy to sing along with it. I know my Grandad used to.

Let's not analyse a celebration of promotion.

I enjoyed myself, as did thousands others.

I quite like the Status Quo song, that was original.
I am not commenting on the celebration itself, it was the choice of tune for club anthem.

You can't sing along to Eye of the Tiger during a match like you can Wise Men Say.

They should have played the UB40 version instead. Much better.

I suppose, for that reason (nostalgia) we should keep it, it brings back a lot of memories for some folk.

I'm with Candy Man, the UB40 version is much better. That's the one we should play.

They played Andy William's version at Wembley. That was much more upbeat.

i assume that's deliberate mischief rather than accidental off-the-scale irony. back in the 80s and 90s half the clubs in the country used that and the other half used tina turner's simply the best. both crap.

I'm positive I recall a song called "I Know My Onions". Tell me - am I right in my belief?
