I don't see much wrong with that. We'll see how much he loves Marseilles by the pay cut he is willing to take.

Surely this is good news for us. Very few if any want him back at QPR, Barton clearly doesn't want to come back and fight for promotion next year, so the sooner he goes permanently the better. Get rid of his obscene wages, and hopefully we won't have constant updates on his self-centered tweets.

Having that Pratt in the south of France is good as its making the property cheaper. I wish he never discovered it

Im am the one of few that wants him back. He is totally idiotic, but he could kick some well paid lazy mercenery ass during the matches and training. Also can you honestly said, that Park, Granero, Mbia, Diakate or any other midfielder have played better this season that Barton did last season.....???

I was one of his biggest supporters on here but after reading that he feels, why would he help us in the Championship as he wasn't part of the team that got us relegated....IMO, he can go **** himself.

In fact have him cleaning the boots while we are still paying him vast amounts of money, till he decides he will leave without a pay off (Which no doubt he has got a keen eye on)

That just stupid papertalk.... If he is ready for his job we should give him a chance as the championship is just a right serie for him. If he still moans about something and loves marseille, then show him a door or booth cleanig brush. Simple as that

There is no way he is coming back to W12. Best for all concerned tbh.
We can get a younger, hungrier, football-motivated team player now - and save a bundle of cash! WIN-WIN
Good to hear Harry is already looking at new players. I'm resigned to not getting up season 1, as the rats leave the old ship, and we rebuild the new ship with the right squad. Maybe we'll get up, maybe we'll make the play-offs. Frankly I'm more looking forward to seeing a squad with team ethic, desire, passion, commitment and the will to win.
Bye Joey. It wasn't a pleasure knowing you. It will be a greater pleasure forgetting you.

Igor, do you HONESTLY believe if Barton came back, from everything you've read, seen and heard from his own mouth, website and twitter account, that he would be 100% committed to our cause and be an asset in getting us out of what is an extremely hard division ?.

If you do, I'm sorry bruv, there is no hope.

The dressing room would be a wonderful place to be if he returned. He has slagged off the club and all of the players (not all deserved it). He would continue to slag off anyone who didn't do exactly what he thinks should be done ... and that includes the manager, coaches, chairman and board. As soon as something didn't go his way there would be confrontation because Joey knows best.

At a time when stability and team spirit is required the last thing you want to do is to re-introduce Barton to the mix.

The stability of the dressing room and the team spirit havent actually been staggering this season. Has it? That is the one thing you cant criticize barton about. As i have always said before i would let those twitter tweets and some interwiews the value of their own. Mind you who would have thought that Tevez ever played for city after the hassle he had with mancini. Probably Barton will never put hooped shirt with our crest on him but the championship would be an ideal level for him.

It has been dreadful. But Tony and Harry have to sort that out asap, and a returning Barton would only create more problems.

He is a massive tool, but did tweet this to Mbia:

    "Joseph Barton ‏@Joey7Barton 1h

@StephaneMbia if you go down with a team. You should stay and help them up mate. They need you all to stick together an help them back. #QPR"

Lets not forget that having been given a chance by warnock, Barton was the one that started all the arguments in the dressing room and more or less got warnock the sack.

As for his comments to m'bia, Barton is no fool and knows how to make himself look good when the mood takes him.

But then I'm sure Barton also realises that it is entirely possible, despite what we all think that Harry could decide he's exactly what we need and brin him back. And I actually think if he did come back he would do everything possible to get us back up, just to stick two fingers up to all the haters. But then I'm sure eventually he'd cock it all up again.

As for Mbia, totally moronic comment, but then he is a professional footballer, and they do have a tendency to come out with stupid comments. Although this is being blown out of proportion. But if I was Harry and PB I'd have it written in to every contract for players to agree to never talk about football if they are stupid enough to be on twitter.

Joey Barton given suspended two-match ban for 'ladyboy' jibe

The former Manchester City midfielder responded on the social networking site by tweeting: "Have to take back what I said about Thiago Silva being over-rated today. Been immense tonight. Still looks like an overweight ladyboy though!

"Two questions for Thiago Silva. Firstly, Why are YOU talking about ME, in your press conference before PSG v Barca? Very strange.

"Secondly, Are you Pre-Op or Post-Op?"
