If we win, from 4th bottom tomorrow night, we go 11th! Terrifying to think how close it is!! Need to win tomorrow to give us a little breathing space

Too true mate...I can't remember so many teams still threatened with relegation this late in the season...A win tomorrow and I will feel a hell of a lot better about the situation..

I was thinking that this morning when I was looking at the table,if ive got it right even Swansea could go down and they are ninth for gods sake

Never known it this tight. we win then 11th we lose and Wigan win on Tuesday bottom three! You get that sort of swing after first three games not with three to go.

For what it's worth I know that we will be 11th by 10 pm tomorrow, it is the bones!

I am betting we get a draw and the same at against Southampton. Wigan will win against Swansea and get a point against Arsenal.

We just have to hope Norwich lose their last 2.

That's just the problem. It's out of our hands because odds on we'll not get the points ourselves.

Only 5 teams involved including the bottom two. There are eight teams involved this year if Wigan win it will be eight teams with in two points!

Even 1957/8 is not as close as that.

Of course we could win and Wigan lose so it spread out again

But only 2 points a win and goal average was used not difference, we ended losing out by .32 of a goal when the scores were done so it therefore went down to the very last game. If I remember right the two teams just above us ended up going down the following year.

I thought Wigan would get a draw at the weekend and win tomorrow. If people thought the baggies players were on the beach, then Swansea players are on a yacht floating round the med.

The only saving grace is that Swansea could be dragged into this, although extremely unlikely, motivating them enough to give Wigan a game and secure their position. With Wigan having the cup final ahead on Saturday, this may not be such an easy 3 points for them.

all aside, it is in our hands to get out of this too......it's a ****ing diaperama.
