Disagree here, I a happier when we win convincingly then when we squeaky bum it. But the squeaky bum games are more fun because the adrenalin is pumping more and the nerves are up. So i am happier when we win comfortably but more fun when it is a tight game.
I have a theory, this may be down to tiredness though, so bear with me: Tomas Rosicky is our best player.
Rosicky is awesome. Underrated by a lot of fans. The way he drives forward & his vision are both fantastic. He's worth holding onto.
I think we are due a good performance. No better time than at home to Wigan. A good win then could provide us with the momentum to defeat Newcastle at St. James' Park.
Yep that's what I'm talking about. I love seeing us tear teams apart, that is very satisfying to watch, but equally I love the feeling from hearing the final whistle in a scrappy 1-0 or even winning games that we should have lost. There's something about getting out of jail and nabbing 3pts that is equally as satisfying as seeing us batter teams
Pleased about the win but that really was some ugly football, I hope the team doesnt get caught out by these poor displays
I'm not sure how poor the display was. We were definitely working harder on defense, but that is our different mentality away from home recently. We just have no interest in trying to score more goals, with flamboyant football. If another goal comes, sobeit, but we are not going to get out of shape defensively to try and get it.
Because of Wilshere's potential in time he will be a better player barring injuries. But right now Rosicky is better he is a better dribbler (quicker on the ball but less skillful), better passer, both are equally crap at shooting, better tackler. He is a better player and probably will be next season as well but one is on the rise and one is on the wane (due to age). This is not a critique of Wilshere but a compliment to Rosicky.
